The appeal is it's basically all the media functioanlity of the iPod/iPhone sans Apple's unbelievably awful lockout crap plus infinitely better games. I honestly hope they do some damage. Apple blows. And for the record, UMDs blew too...it just sucks for those of us that already have a sizable collection.

Well I get that it's main draw is the virtual stuff but what I don't get is the fact that someone would desire to upgrade to the Go for just that reason when in actuallity any model PSP can download all those games that launched with the Go and they can do it without a 250 dollar price tag.

250-40 for rock band unplugged-80 for 16 gb plus you can add more and a slimmer smoother sexier model that you push up with much more comfortable controlls. If you think about it it is only like 130-140 for the whole thing by itself which is a great deal. Now go get yourself a go now

I agree with what your saying bboy2970, the Go is good for people who never had a PSP but for those of us who have a pretty big UMD collection unless we can convert our games to the Go there is no way it is worth it imo. What I do is if I find a physical copy of the game I will buy it but, if the game is very hard to find in my neck of the woods like Disgaea, Prinny, Personna, etc then I could just download them through my PSP 3000 instead of buying a GO.

Gran Turmiso is actually very fun to get money beat challenges and get trophies plus an amazing multiplayer mode. I give Gran Turmiso a 9/10 and reccomend it to anyone who likes driving games. I played a little more and actually liked it a lot. I am dissapointed though that I wasted 32 bucks on mlb 09 the show the game is an average game and is worth 20 dollars not 32. Get Gran Turmiso and God of War but don't get MLB09 the show

Well then I might give Gran Turismo a go. I bought God of War this afternoon. Haven't downloaded it yet.

Gran turmiso is probably one of my favortie psp game it is a very long game with lots of fun with multiplayer. I just needed to give the game more time because at first I didn't like it but once I did challenges and learned how to play it is actually a great game and you should definatelyget this corbie and when you do tell me your username so we can race online

My favorite game on psp is god of war, then patapon2, then gran turmiso

In god of war where is the sex minigame because I want to avoid it. Which boss battle is it after.

@castle..... if I remember right its withing the first hour or two of the game. Two very underdressed ladies you will see and that is where it is.

I was very surprised at Patapon 2. Very cool idea. I played it a bit last night before bed. As for God of War, I love the series, but I've only very briefly played this PSP version. Will get to play it later in the week. But the Loco Roco 2 game is still my favorite.

Two very different games. I don't like the Resistance games, so that's a no-brainer for me. But for you, it depends. That being said, Loco Roco 2 is absolutely amazing. Maddeningly addictive!

Why is this thread called “PSP go games” as if to suggest these games are only available for the go? My 1st generation PSP can download and play all of these just as well as a go can (which is a little sad.....)

@Corbie.... I just bought Prinny: Can I Really be the Hero and its amazing 2D side scroller with brutal difficulty. If you like the whole LocoRoco/Patapon you will prob really enjoy it. Its on sale now on PSN for $9.99 USD I think until Thursday. Im really impressed with it. Its made my NIS America and is a spin off of Disgaea series and is PSP exclusive. Its well worth the money and funny as all get out.
