Topic: PSP2 announced for 2011 release... apparently.

So what do you guys think? Is it Good idea or bad idea? You think it will be a sucess or failure? And how much will the 3DS smash it?

I bet you sony is going to copy off the 3DS. give it a touchscreen and make it 3D, like the 3DS. But the 3DS will still come out on top.

I thought about that too. But then I realized Nintendo is only able to get away with touch screen AND 3D because they have 2 screens, 1 for each thing. But PSPs only have 1 screen. SO, if Sony went for glassesless 3D as well as touch control, a game wouldn't be able to implement both at the same time because if you are touching the 3D screen you will also get in the way of the screen projecting to whichever eye and the effect will be destroyed. That is unless Sony gives the PSP2 2 screens but that would just be absolutely dispicable, even for Sony.

So, on the topic of Sony, is the Move really that much worse than the M+?
I heard its laggy and sometimes unresponsive, So, who bought it?

Something tells me that not much is gonna change, except the graphics...probably will become a DVD and BluRay player...2 screens, one touch screen...3D games, glasses required...toaster oven.

I'm surprised, actually. The PSP wasn't such a big hit, so you'd think Sony would just stick with its home console line. But that's their stubbornness for you, I suppose.

Also I'm expecting the PSP2 to have 3D like the 3DS, since Sony seems to be quite a trend-follower these days.

I find the difference in my reactions to the 3DS and the PSP2 very interesting. I love the 3DS already, but the PSP2? Nahhh.

As myself, I own a Wii and Dsi. My friends all own 360's, but I tried CODMW2 at a friends house, and I realise I am terrible at shooters.
That means I am only good at Nintendo Games....

I don't know where you heard that, my controllers are working fine. I'd go so far as to say that Sports Champions is a better game than Wii Sports Resort (barring the flight sim thing)mainly because the controller just is more accurate than Motion+.

I still adore the flight sim thing in Wii Sports Resort far more than the rest of either game, however. <3
