Well, now it's official. In 2019 Sony Japan is ending production of the PS Vita. The system has managed to see solid sales numbers in Japan every month thanks to continued support from Japanese developers and indie titles. So, if you were ever interested in the Vita and you prefer to buy your hardware new rather than used, now is the time to buy...before they're gone for good.

I thought it would have ended production some time ago. It has virtually no retail presence in Australia. Even Wii U software is still readily available (albeit in declining quantities, mostly Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival ).
