Just as I suspended. Looking at some of the games, they did not look ready- especially ModNation Racers and Uncharted. This gives devs extra time to work on them and to hopefully have a solid release. Though, I doubt Modnation Racers will get any better :3

Er, I've kinda known it wasn't coming out before 2012 for a while now. Are you sure this isn't old news? Or was it just a rumor before?

It was generally expected to release this year in Japan and US with Europe in 2012, but oh well. Japan is getting it first just like they did PSP.

I knew the PSVita would get a push back because Japan always gets this kind of thing first. Is it any wonder when they are the ones making this hardware.

Thanks to the nature of the PSN I don't think it's possible for Sony to region lock consoles.

Just a complete guess there, though.

Besides that, Sony couldn't care less about games retailers, and region locking is usually done for the retailer's benefit.

It frickin impossible for Nintendo to copy a NG4, Gamecube, Wii, DS, and Wii U from Apple in UNDER 2 YEARS. It's literally impossible for them to design,
get court records, supplies, market, make games, and manufacture a major new system in 2 years. Even games usually take 3 years or more. IGN's
argument is impossible to put in reality. Except for the Wii U, I do belive that Nintendo got that from Apple, and in 2 Years it's been enough time for them to design the Wii U, but not manufacture, or make games. So I'm still hanging on to thinking that Nintendo only copied Apple's iPad in the Wii U. But I could be wrong, but I think that's it IMO.

Nintendo does take a lot of design and interface cues from Apple. It's the smartest thing Nintendo has done in recent years. Apple is the world #1 IT company because it's one of the very few that understands how important usability, design and interface is.

Nintendo gets that, I believe.
