Ya as someone who also defended SKB and thought the censoring of BD was unnecessary, this is getting out of hand. Compile Heart has just as much right to be developing games as the next guys I guess, but it's disappointing that their crap is what often represents niche JRPGs in the West.

As for it being PEGI 12, maybe it's because nobody over that age would find playing your Vita in public to be funny or amusing. Kind of like how Beavis and Butthead Do America was rated PG-13. They had to make a couple cuts to get the rating down from an R, because they realized that they would be eliminating 99% of the audience if they restricted people under 18 from seeing the movie.

The funny thing is I was actually going to post about my dislike of Compile Hearts in much more detail, but honestly, that picture just sums it up.

Don't know how long it has been up, but the physical release of Shinovi Versus is up for pre-order on Amazon with some bonus goodies for $50 for North Americans. The release date is listed as September 30.

Dekamori Senran Kagura is being localized by XSeed in North America as Senran Kagura: Bon Appétit. It'll be a digital only release.

They're also bringing over Brandish: The Dark Revenant to NA.

I love all of the Senran Kagura we're getting in the West.

I get the impression that the game is INCREDIBLY niche.

Admittedly in a way I can respect at least. It doesn't look bad, but Action/Rogue-like combat was never something I've been able to get into...

I've never had a Sony system, is the PSVita worth it? Which model is the best (looking at 3G right now).

The Vita has quite a few good games, but many of them are Niche. I highly recommend looking into the library to see if enough games catch your attention. I know I've been greatly entertained thus far.

Also, the 3G model is pointless. It costs extra, yet you can't play games using 3G, since its fairly unreliable, so its only good if you want to connect to people at all times.

Okay. As far as Niche games, I seem to be seeing a lot of interesting titles. I play almost all non-shooter/horror/sports games, so I'm a bit of a gaming glutton.

Btw, Monster Monpiece is actually in the US PS Store now. Yup. Apparently Idea Factory had to localize it themselves, which is some good news at least. Brb, gonna go watch Digitally Downloaded give it 5/5 stars

Edit: 4.5/5, close enough. XD

It has been up for a while now. I would have downloaded it if I had any spare cash, but Mario Kart 8 took precedence over this. From what I can tell, consensus is that the game is a fun card battler, and most complaints center around the fanservice and rubbing mechanic. Not sure I care for smudging the Vita's beautiful screen, but it still sounds fun, so I'll probably pick it up soon.

Honesly, it sounds like the card battling is the only good aspect about it. It's like those old Yu-Gi-Oh games where they take a decent card game and present it in the laziest fashion possible. I can think of a lot of card game adaptions that I would take precedence over it, and most of them are free.
