You would have to be pretty stupid or god knows what to believe a lot of them reviews, example:

(PS4 is being shipped as a brick. PS stands for Piece of S... Shoulda bought a Wii U! The Xbox will fail just as surely as the PS is)

(I didn't even buy this, but I want to bash it. This is a piece of s*** system, dead on arrival. and it sucks very bad. I want a refund, even though I didn't even buy it... I am angry and I want to contact customer support, but I didn't buy it, I'm just upset that it's dead on arrival. so yea, give this more 1 star ratings, it sucks)

wow that one says he hasn't even got a PS4 he is just there to bash it, be yet apparently these are true reports according to half of you lot. You want me to believe Amazon has sold anywhere near 50% of Sonys stock more like a few thousand at best, yet 50% of there stock is bad if people with half a brain cell believes half of them so called faulty PS4's? but there is almost one thousand 5 star rating so how on earth could Amazon have 50% bad stock even if you are dumb and believe it in the first place? maths people pretty simple suff, do you think Bigfoot will buy a Wii U this Xmas?

News flash the PS4 doesn't have the best of content at the moment, oh no what console do i support now? because we are all supports of something right? do i have to support Cadburys because i like there chocolate?

you should listen to your own advice and not get wound up so tight defending the PS4. If people bash it, let them. it shouldn't bother you a bit since...you're not a supporter.

Read half of these forums not just this one but ones on the Wii U side also, its called stupidity there is a lot of it on here for some reason thats what is unbelievable. "Should Nintendo buy the US" or what ever the forum was called, is it me that just thinks WTF going on here like i've stepped into the twilight zone or something and other unbelievable nonsense thats to stupid to even remember.

I used to feel the same. Then I realized it's called Nintendolife and you will have a bunch of people on here that have their head up NIntendo's...well you know...it's really useless trying to make those people understand that the other 2 consoles have some great games on them as well.

Yeah, we're talking about the same people who complain about the amount of shooters and action games on other platforms, but don't say a peep when those "dudebro" games make up the majority of the current Wii U line-up...at this point it's probably best to just sit back and have a laugh than to try to convince them of anything. Life's too short to spend it arguing all the time.

The firs version of the XBOX360 (not even just the first batch) was destined to die by the end of the first year and only a handfull of consoles survived.
Some WiiUs were faulty at launch, some died during the first patching process.
If you are looking for consoles that run out of the box till the end of the world just get a cartridge based console line the SNES. You can slice that thing in half, tape it together and it will still run
The more complex a console and a game gets, the more prone to error it will be. And taming that amount of hardware built into the now next gen consoles is a feet for itself. You can count on it, that even games get more and more buggy / glitchy the more overly complex they get.
With publishers demanding the same deadlines as before and games that take longer and longer to make, you can take it for granted that every major game will need a couple of patches after its release to even be considered "a finished game"
Even with all that oh so beloved "third party support" the other two new consoles are having, they will at least have a hard time when it comes to production costs, developing time and deadlines to make a truly "next gen" title.
The WiiU might even get an advantage because of that: If these costs etc proove to be too much, the "old tech" of the WiiU could prove to be a safe middle ground, slightly above the last consoles, not as demanding as the new ones.
The big names like EA wont care if their products get onto shelfes half finished, they never cared. But smaller studios could get easily overwhelmed by these circumstances and could fall back onto the WiiU, making affordable games with "trusty and prooven tech"
But to make such a conclusion it will at least take a year or two. EIther smaller devs get overwhelmed and overshadowed by the big ones and their puffy wallets or it prooves that "next gen" isnt all that bad, and its the way to go. We will see

Believe it or not I got a 360 on launch day and then I sold it to a friend when the slims come out just cause I wanted one of those and it's still working to this day. The original Xbox on the other hand well I can't say the same. I got one of those launch day and it had the awful thompson drive in it so it wouldn't read any games after about 6-8 months.

Anywho, my two cents on the topic: every console will experience technical difficulties. You can't exactly test every system thoroughly for glitches, and everyone who buys a launch console is a guinea pig that will help the company make the product better later (now thanks to constant updates, etc.)

... but he's right. If you take away the exclusives, you have pretty much the same "bro" games as every other console. CoD, Batman, Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect, etc. We're missing Battlefield, I'll give you that. But yea ... the facts are there, my friends.

Anyway, I find all of this hilarious. There's a whole lot of karma being dished out. Sure, it's terrible if you received a PS4 brick, but I like to think they were mostly for those online blobs of evil who constantly attack everything and anything not typed from their own keyboard. That's probably not true. Oh well.
