The Xbox 360 version of the game got updated a couple of days ago to fix the infamous Javelin Glitch, I guess this one's the same fix for the PS3 version of the game, along with any other bugs that weren't yet fixed...

Whats the Javelin Glitch?
Basically it let people run around with the javelin and explode (in a large radius) whenever they were killed, usually taking their killer and a few others with them. It was ruining the game, especially in domination/demolition. At least I won't have to file complaints about every player I see using it anymore.

Basically its Infinity Ward caring about the game having a great sense of Balance of Play. Updates are rarely a bad thing, and if they are they will be fixed again very abruptly.

I think we're averaging one update every 5 days on PS3. I never encountered the Javelin Glitch. Now I never will! Side note: I hope we get a retro map add-on from COD4.
