Fat Princess is out. Who all's getting it? The download is taking forever on my slow connection, but I'm nearly done. Let's play.

I really want to get Fat Princess but I don't have the money to get it right now. Let us know how it is Adam!

The game itself is perfect. It is a very rare type of game -- the type of game that is exactly what I expected.

However, the network support is atrocious. My friend and I have only once been able to connect to a game today, and even then it was just for a minute before the host left and the game was abandoned -- despite the creators saying the game would continue with a new host automatically. So the only way I've been able to play so far is with one friend and 10 bots (I couldn't even have more bots because, even though it's just bots, the game said my connection could not support more players than that).

It's super freaking annoying. I play Warhawk and lots of other games online with zero problems whatsoever, so I don't know what the deal is here. I'm not saying I wouldn't have bought the game just for single-player and friend battles, but I don't know if I'd have paid $15 for it.

I know it's the game's first day, but for a game that is primarily an online game to be screwed up this bad (and for it not to be an isolated case since at least one other person I know has had the same problem) is inexcusable in my book. Oh well, here's hoping for a better tomorrow. I can be satisfied with single-player and friend battles for now, which is a lot of fun.

I think the bandwith thing has something to do with the host switching problem. If none of the players had a good enough connection to support the number of players on the game, what could it have done?

Well, heck if I know though. All, I'm gonna say is that I'm pleased with the game, and out of all the time the host dropped the game in the matches I've played, at least three out of every four times it had found a new host.

I'm getting Fat Princess sometime soon.

I've just been too busy with other stuff to even turn on my PS3.

I have Fat Princess. Actually I think you (Adam) joined my game earlier. I only quit because it's so hot in here I was afraid my ps3 would overheat. This area (northwest USA) can be one of the worst to live in during the summer since we don't have AC in our apartments unless we actually go out and buy them. Well, the host-dropping problem is only a minor problem compared with the complete inability to join random games. Fortunately joining a game that a friend is already in works perfectly, and as long as you guys keep playing, I'd rather do that anyway.

Also, Bones and Stuffy, my mic is working now. Sorry about that. I went to Gamestop today, and the only one they had was a Logitech headset. I got it without really thinking to read the box, and stupid me, yes it's a USB one. Being wired isn't really a problem, but it feels like some sort of torture device. It doesn't fit and it is not padded enough.

Anyway, despite numerous problems, that was a lot of fun. It was lame that the other team intentionally put all the best players on one side. I heard them talking before one of the games. Stuffy, I don't know why I couldn't hear your voice chat, but I think it'll work next time.

Let's do this again some time tomorrow. I've got nothing to do for most of the afternoon and evening, and my friend (caesarsaladin) will probably join in, too.

@Adam: You bought it at Gamestop, huh? Well, unless something has changed without them telling me, there's a seven-day return policy on accessories, whether it's opened or not. If it really doesn't fit, I recommend returning it and getting a Bluetooth headset, even if you have to shop elsewhere to get it.

Those guys were INTENTIONALLY splitting the teams up that way? Like I needed another reason to think they were buttholes... is even more mad at them now

Awesome, thanks. I may have to do that. $50 for a headset is kind of crazy, but I see myself playing a lot of Warhawk and Fat Princess this fall, so it'll be worth it.

Anyone else unable to join random matches? This is super annoying. There's nothing wrong with my connection. It works for all my other PS3 games and all my Wii games. Heck, I can even play Brawl with few hiccups, and that's better than most can say. Any speculation? Weird that I can join a game if a friend joins first and I follow.

There have been complaints all over the place so they'd be silly not to.

@Adam, AlexSays, and StuffGamer1-The reason I haven't chat with you guys is because I have been playing Soul Calibur IV and Fallout 3 a LOT. I will try to chat with you guys, but I do not have that many multiplayer games that you guys owned.

I wish Fat Princess had single player achievments. I really dont like playing online much. I actually am really good at FPS shooters but when I get them online CoD4 ex. I get really really addicted to it so I kinda dont mess with them anymore. Not to mention Im currently playing..... Midnight Club, Ferrari Challenge, Uncharted on Crushing, PURE, Bionic Commando, Ski Doo Challenge, Bionic Commando Rearmed, Shatter, Rock Band as usual. I gots plenty keeping me busy. Oh and Kid Icarus GB will be in this week.

I got fat princess first day but i havent been able to find a game.If anyone wants to game add me.Ive been practicing on bots for 2 days now.I think i'm getting the hang of it. Oh just wanted to add, DeadSpace kicks arse!! I just got it the other day it's a blast.

Odd69, there are some significant match-finding problems with the game. I have the same trouble. However, I can join a friend's game very easily, so try Play With Friends whenever you get online, and if one of us are in a game, you should be able to join. I'll probably play it in a little while, actually.
