I'm a PS3 fan, but I don't have one yet. Like I mentioned in a previous thread I was saving up for a PS3, but I ended up buying a few games I had been looking for forever and then bought a crappy $130 Xbox 360 at a yardsale that just got RROD. But I am going to start saving up again for a PS3, I really hope to get it by this time next year at least if not by the end of this year.

Can you all name some good games that are PS3 exclusive for me to buy? I know Uncharted and several others but a few less known gems is what I looking for for when I get the PS3.

Cross Edge? IGN's review (I don't know where else to look) was awful. Maybe it'd help if I knew the characters from any of these companies, but there are at least a million bars and meters on screen at once. It looks like a mess. You really like it? I must admit I've been tempted to try it despite my better instincts since I read about it simply due to the surprisingly small number of RPGs on the PS3, but since it's not available to rent, it's hard to convince myself to buy it.

The other two games though are very easy to recommend.

My bias also extends to games I haven't played...so...yeah.

Haha, well, it does have a ton of DLC (most of which is free, including extra dungeons), and there are a handful of good reviews out there... It's probably just too complicated for anyone beyond a certain niche. Dang it, I thought you were going to finally get me off the fence.

To make up for this, I command you to get the game and report back once you've played it.

@Stuffgamer1......Yeah I really enjoyed Sonic Ultimate Collection......I didnt buy it for the Platinum trophy I bought it for the games, but Robotniks MBM kicked my butt royally. Ferrari Challenge is one of the most underated games ever in my opinion. Its a awesome sim racer and each race takes about 15 min. You not earning trophies fast but boy to you earn them cause its hard as hell. I just lost a 3 circuit race for the 3rd time and that a bronze trophy lol.

@Paper....not bad Level 10 with 4 Platinums......I literally have 3 but Im not shelling out 40 bucks for the camera for it on Burnout. Just cant stomach that one .

Speaking of Valkyria Chronicles; according to Joystiq.com, Sega is currently developing Valkyria Chronicles 2 on the PSP! I would much rather have the sequel on the PS3 but at least we are getting a sequel! I think this is fantastic news! Well, I guess I finally have a reason to buy a PSP now!

YES! One less PS3 series for me to worry about! Even though I would've preferred it to be on 360, this still makes me very happy. Now all I need is a PSP Uncharted and I'll be good to go!

I think it's a good fit to the PSP, actually. Portable games usually are designed with more save opportunities and shorter levels, which this game could greatly benefit from.

I absolutely loved the battle system, like everyone else, but once battles started getting super long, I just got too frustrated to keep playing. One misstep and you can lose a battle, and then you have to start from the very beginning.

Even if I can't finish this one, I'll be happy as long as that pig thing that goes "Moink" returns.

Anyone played Motostorm: Pacific Rift? I liked the original Motorstorm, so is it a safe bet I'll like this sequel?

I think there's a demo on PSN. If I am remembering correctly, it felt like more of the same. I never liked Motorstorm though.

I didn't love Motorstorm, but I liked it alright. I'm not a big racing game fan anyway, but I'm need something new for my PS3. It's being neglected at the moment. Oh well, at least I have Wii Sports Resort for now. That should keep me busy for awhile.

Genius! Though I suppose I should get an HDTV first.

Anyone else download Battlefield 1943?

I love it. It's nice for when I want to play some quick FPS multiplayer and I don't feel like popping in one of the big games like COD4 or Killzone 2.

I was thinking about it. What's special about it? I know there are planes and land vehicles, so I'm wondering if it's just like Warhawk, in which case I'll just stick with that. Obviously the mere existence of vehicles is not enough to say two games are exactly alike though. Sure wish there was a demo.
