I'm BanjoKazoo, and I don't go online on the PS3 much anymore. I do play the occasional Hot Shots Golf game online from time to time, but that's about it. I use the PS3 mostly for the import shoot 'em ups.

I just want to draw attention to a game for PS3 called Valkyria Chronicles. This is one of the best games on PS3 that sadly nobody bought. Right now its still ONLY $30 at Gamestop! I implore you to give this game a try! They just released some dlc for it last week too! I'm still hoping enough people will buy it so we can get sequel one day! As you can tell it is one of my favorite games of all time! Don't overlook this awesome game!

I rented Valkyria. It was quite fun at first, but it gets boring after awhile. It is a very cool concept though, combining strategy-RPG with third-person shooters.

Somehow I envisioned this thread happening.

Oh and I bought my PS3 just for Valkyria Chronicles, so yeah I'd say it's good.

I've been meaning to play KZ2, but it was rented out yesterday. I'm not good at shooters though, so I'm concerned I'll just be destroyed online and not have any fun.

Japan got a pretty big PSN update today, featuring PSOne Classics -- Langrisser I&II and Grandia.
It's not fair.

Is anyone planning to get BlazBlue? I haven't bought a versus fighter since Mortal Kombat 4 on N64, but this one looks good.

I've never played Guilty Gear though, so I'm not sure what to expect from this developer. Looks very fast, which is great, and supposedly the moves are a bit easier than games like Street Fighter, which is important to me.

I find it very frustrating trying to do the moves (or just remember them) in Street Fighter II Turbo HD Look How Ridiculously Long This Name Is Remix and other such games. So hopefully this game will be easier to play.

If anyone wants to kick my butt online when it comes out next week, let me know.

@Adam: I plan on getting BlazBlue. I have the PS3 version pre-ordered at GameStop. I also plan on getting King of Fighters XII. Both of these games look really cool!

I've never played King of Fighters either, but I must say it does look cool, too!

Then again, I thought Street Fighter IV looked pretty good, and I was really disappointed with that. Moves weren't as easy as reviewers said, and I sucked too much to beat the first opponent when I rented it.

Also, I just remembered I'll actually be out of town most of next week, but I'll be up for playing anyone the week after. Unfortunately, that'll mean that I'll be a week behind in practice, and I'm already pretty bad at games like this, haha. Oh well!

I was planning on getting Street Fighter IV but after hearing some bad things about it I decided to hold off. Perhaps I'll give it a try someday. I may not be as skilled as some people are when it comes to fighting games but I still enjoy a good 2D fighter! Have you tried Garou: Mark of the Wolves on XBLA yet? That game is pretty darn fun!

I don't have a 360. Every now and then I am tempted to get it just for the arcade stuff, but there isn't a single retail game exclusive to the system, so I just can't justify buying another system (especially one that breaks so often). Plus, having to pay for online play is lame. I hate monthly fees.

If I had one though, I'd have downloaded Mark of the Wolves already.

God of War Collection DOES in fact have 2 Platinum Trophies!!!!!

Both games have full trophy support and both Platinum Trophies are attainable, no beating the game on Titan or Hard Modes. Thank you Sony.
