I heard the one on Wii was the definitive version of the first one, but if you plan to go any further in the games, you'll need the PS2 sequels. I also heard Klanoa was very fun, so that's a pretty safe bet.

Dude! I just watched a review of Klonoa from Caddicarus.
So I decided to some digging around, and I found that the series is pretty well liked.
So I was wondering, is Klonoa 2 on PS2 any good?
VERY good! I'd say it might be my favourite platformer ever. The double-jump mechanic is ridiculously satisfying and there're all these brilliant platforming puzzles built around that, great level design, fun bosses, really charming music & graphics! (The first Klonoa is fantastic too, and the Wii version is the way to go for that!)

@Rocko52 Nah, Colossus just ain't my cup of tea. I'm into grimdark as much as the next guy, but SOTC is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too depressing for my tastes.
