The same thing was said about Project X Zone. Lo and behold!
It's on the 3DS and the developer, Monolith Soft, belongs to Nintendo.
The better example would be Tales of Xillia, but even then, this is a Jump Superstar kind of game which should be compared to D.O.N. which never made it outside Japan. They'd have to license every single Jump character in the game overseas.
Nearly all of the copyrights belong to Viz now, though. There should be zero licensing problems, and at worst, it'll be a download-only game simply because of Sony's bullcrap about requiring dubbing.
