Topic: Project Natal or PS3 Motion Controller?

Didn't the PS2 already have something like Natal?

uh yeah.. Milo.. it's a game for soccer moms, how can you possibly look forward to that game, I'm sure for gamers the novelty will run out after a day or two. Fable 3 I can understand.

for the technical achievement that pulling off something like Milo will be... and there's a reason why I put Milo and Fabe III together, I think/hope Milo will be part of the Fable III experience (Which would be awesome)

I don't know which one will be better, we will just have to see when both are released.

I'll pick neither. I'll choose a regular buttoned controller instead of hopping around like a doofus swatting balls and boring myself to death with a virtual representation of Skynet... I mean Milo.

Yeah. The EyeToy. I think it can be used with the PS3 as well. It wasn't that successful. It could also be modified into a PC webcam/microphone with drivers. Natal does much more but you could still call it a glorified EyeToy if you are unaffected by those who overhype the technology.

Aye, the Wiimote is about as far as I'll stretch when it comes to motion controllers. It's a happy medium between the two. The wand and Natal is just too gimmicky.

I am actually considering getting EyePet when it finally gets to the states, looks kinda fun for some reason.

Natal is really just an eyetoy vastly updated whether anyone likes it or not,just like the Sony wand is a Wiimote just updated but still i like the Sony wand more. Just looks so much fun and not giltchy.

The prototype Magic Fairy Wand is ugly, but if it's better than WM+, it seems like the best option. Not every game will work without a controller.

Oh, but im not really interested in either of them, I have my Wii for my motion control needs.

@Sean007s: I hear ya! I've played RE4 with wiimote. That's the way i want to those types of games (particularly RE games, especially if they're like RE 4) and 1st person shooters. The perfect way to play those types of game.

Personally, I'd like to try both systems.

Look at the tech demo for the Sony wand at E3.
It actually looks fun but when you see the NATAL in action...its giltchy as hell....when you move around the characters on screen turn like elastic....NATAL...WELL BAM!!! THERE YA HAVE IT. The Eye Toy 3.0

Also RE5 Gold edition will use the Sony wand for aiming and other stuff!

either that, or simply add support and get some weird looking animation or unrecognizable movements... I don't see Capcom redoing RE5 while they have to work on the DLC for the Gold Edition, so I doubt it will have fluid movements (specially while aiming)... that and the fact that the game is already a year old...

They are remaking an exclusive PS3 RE5 that utilizes the Wand.
It will have all DLC for download and retail

I agree with RE5 being an achievement if ported successfully to Wii...still, given the gi-flappin'-gantic difference between the presentation of 4 and 5, I can't see any way of this happening without teabagging the atmosphere. The fact that I never acclimated to the graphics (they wow-ed the entire game through) is part of why I loved that experience so much, although that new Silent Hill impressed me a lot (best lighting/shadows I've seen on a Wii game). Still, I just don't know if Capcom would want to go through all that trouble--there's absolutely no way the co-op would work online with Wii's connection and that's 2/3 of the game...

Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition is also coming to the Xbox 360, only the wand gimmick has been added to the PS3 version at Sony's request...
