Topic: Persona 5 for PS3 and PS4

If it makes you feel any better, they're at least promising for a release this year.

What is everyone's guess? Worldwide, or staggered? Japan always gets Atlus games first, right?

They're saying this year for both sides of the pond. I'm assuming that means it's simultaneous unless Japan's getting Persona 5 sooner than expected.

P5 is getting more Western attention than Atlus games usually receive (probably due to the popularity of the brand combined with it releasing on major home consoles), so I imagine the localization will be even quicker than it is normally with their titles.

This game is gorgeous!

I feel like they could have done more visually but it still looks pleasant.

That last picture was pretty neat, looked like a good mid-point between photo-esque and anime-esque.

Psyched for this, just don't know whether to get a PS3 or PS4 for it.

Are you just going off of those pictures? Because I don't think you actually have controllable movement in those particular scenes those screenshots are from.

I think it's meant to be something stylistic they do for certain areas, like inside classrooms during class, or certain cutscenes (or perhaps a lot of cutscenes, we don't know for certain yet). There are a few images on the main site where the camera isn't so close, though they're mostly "dungeon" scenes.
