Not entirely true. It was supposed to be the killer of Sony and Microsoft too. Not only last-gen but this gen too.

This thing is good for only one thing - retroesque legally purchased game catalogue in one place.
Keep it legal -Lz

I owned one to develop on it, but i never got around to it. Now i havent played it for 6 months. There are some good free games but it was really not a great system. Its made for developers over gamers so it kinda falls flat... But if u like obscure indie games u could enjoy ur ouya. It's for short play sessions and those who want to play mobile-like games on ur tv

No offense, but I'm not surprised that it didn't do that well. Only Google would probably be able to make something like this successful, and it would be way better, to boot.

Even the AT Atari & Mega Drive have stepped away slightly and made sure there is space between them and the OUYA

Spotted one in Target last week. It had a nice layer of dust on the top of the box if that's any indication.

I think the whole ouya saga was one big confused mess, still not entirely sure what it's for or who its aimed at exactly, there where some genuinely nice idea's in it's conception; but I think they've messed up too much to recover now like a certain other console out there.

I thought this thing was cancelled!
after all, that Kisckstarter madness with some hyped dudes ended too suddenly so the logical thing to think was that it didn't work, though I never got what was the appeal and it lead me to not even bother looking into it.

I bought one at a pawn shop for $20 last month. It does a nice job playing those things we're not supposed to talk about here but that's about it.

I almost bought it for that, but then I realized it was HDMI-only...oh well.
