Hey all! I thought I'd give a shout out to a PC/Mac game I worked on that I think you would enjoy. It's called Outer Wilds, and it's a space exploration game set in a quirky solar system with some strange things going on. Every planet you can visit has a different theme and different puzzles for you to solve. We took inspiration from Majora's Mask so I think you'd all get a kick out of it!
We were recently nominated for the Independent Games Festival 2015 Grand Prize and Excellence in Design awards. We're also honourable mentions for the Excellence in Narrative and Nuovo Award categories.
Don't read too much about the game before playing. You'll definitely want to keep your playthroughs spoiler-free. The game is all about that sense of awe and discovery!
You can download our free (old) alpha release at OuterWilds.com. I highly recommend you play using an Xbox 360 controller. I'd love to hear what you guys think!
Should this thread be kept up? Just wondering since Outer Wilds is set to release on the Switch at some point in time, and this seems to be the only thread related to the game. It just hasn't been used in 7 years.
