I noticed that I'm the videos of doa5. It seems they were inspire by mortal komabt but added two many envioerment scenes that it ruins gameplay.

By the vita game I meant igataki didn't Like the psp or vita. He said in aninterview he didn't like that's it was trying to be a portal le console instead of its own thing and that's why dragon sword was for ds and the more console like psp didn't get a ninjas gaiden game.

I'm about 13 chapters in to Enslaved and I think it's pretty good for the most part. The characters are great and the combat, graphics and cut sceans are good but I'm getting a little tired of jumping and climbing stuff.

Part of that has to do with me playing the heck out of Uncharted 2 lately and just being burnt out on doing said climbing. Enslaved really does feel like a poor mans Uncharted which is in no way a bad thing.

Glad you're liking it though. It does have many elements that are similar to Uncharted, but just like that series (which I'm tired of the climbing/jumping mechanics in myself) it doesn't overstay its welcome. The ending is fantastic and it's a great title that's far too overlooked.

@shingi_70 I don't worship Itagaki like some do, so I don't get into the nit picky, but I personally don't feel that Hayashi was a good fit for Team Ninja. I think he's a great leader, seeing how he managed to get the changes he wanted done, but I think he's not in the position that he needs to be in. I think he'd do better at another studio elsewhere. As for Itagaki, I am looking forward to seeing what he comes up with next though.

Great to hear!!! My wife has been up sick all night and I've got to take her to see a specialist today for it, but I'm hoping to get to try it out. My extra funds are a little dry at the moment, but I'm definitely going to be putting it on my rental list for sure. I'm a huge fan of the genre and I'm really glad to see that it's turned out well!!!

@Slapshot - I just beat Enslaved the end was pretty good as you said. I'm not very good aiming with the staff so it was a bit frustrating but was still fun. The melee combat was a blast through out the whole game.

The game can be had for under $15 on Amazon and it's a steal at that price.

So other than Journey (which I hear is so good that it could single handedly solve all the problems in the middle east) how PSN doing. I really never hear that much about it and it doesn't seem like sony invests in it or talks about it as much as Steam or XBLA. Can only think of a few games from the service .

Journey
Flower
Pixeljunk series
Fat princess
dust 514
echochrome
flow

Which kind of sucks because PSN has some amazing experiences.

The only PSN game I have is Outland which is a great game. It seems every time I get a PSN card I end up getting a full PS3 game or just get some DLC.

That said I'm very interested in Dust 514 and Bit Trip Runner 2.

Does anyone happen to know if Rock of Ages is available on PSN or coming soon? I have the game on Steam but my current laptop lags like hell when it runs it.

Are you kidding me? I guess it depends on what news sites etc you follow because I hear more about PSN than either XBLA or Steam. I personally have 100 or so games from the service.

And yes, Rock of Ages is coming to PSN

I'm not meant to say mine but... mine. It cover a lot of PSN games. <_<

The PlayStation Blog is a good one to get regular updates on what's coming out each week.

Every week we atleast get something noteworthy( or every two weeks) on PSN. If anything checking the ps blog everyday gives you a glimpse about what PSN is really like. Like all services there may be slow periods but even then, unknown gems can be released at anytime. Its getting a whole lot better too. Last weeks Shoot many Robots was a fun little title, and there are many like it on the service. Enough browsing the ps store I'm sure any gamer could find something.

@shingi_70 Oh, there's quite a few exclusive_PSN games that are _really good that make the service stand out.

  • Crash Commando - a 2D side-scrolling online multiplayer death-match fest. It's bloody brilliant too!
  • echochrome & echochrome II - both are unique, but highly creative puzzle games that stand out on the service.
  • Flower - I'm sure you know about this.
  • GTI Club+ - Not for everyone, but I've wasted hours away in this arcade to PSN port.
  • inFamous: Festival of Blood - Thought to be DLC, but ended up being a full on side game in the inFamous saga, that some claim is the best of the lot.
  • Journey - one of the best game's I've ever played.
  • Ratchet and Clank Future: Quest for Booty - A full Ratchet and Clank title optimized for the service that has pirates. Yep, there's nothing here not to love!
  • Siren: Blood Curse - A niche, scare-fest that one of the best in the business, but a bit on the pricey side.
-Spelunker HD - It's the old-school NES Spelunker remaster into HD and it's a helluva lot of fun.
  • Tales from Space: About a Blob - a slippery platformer that got a Nintendo vibe and is one of PSN's finest offerings.
  • WipEout HD - no explanation needed here.
  • Wizardry: Labyrinth of Souls - the old-school Wizardry is back and better than ever.

Two of my absolute favorites on the service that are multiplatform is: Söldner-X: Himmelsstürmer & Söldner-X 2: Final Prototype. These are two of the finest horizontal scrolling space shooters I've played, and I've played a lot of them!

I'm guessing you haven't heard about this months' PS+ update yet?! Yeah... try Need for Speed Shift 2 Unleashed and Shank 2. Then we're getting Silent Hill for PSone, Cananbalt, Farm Frenzy 2 and Mystic Garden PSP Minis, as well as the PSN game Frogger Returns, which I'm stoked to finally get.

Oh crap, and I almost forgot, we're also getting into the Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Future Beta too!
