That's pretty neat. I don't have a tablet or anything but this is still good to hear. My brother has a Google Nexus 7 so I'll let him know and ask him to see what it's all about. Nintendo could really benefit by doing more things like this. I'm not talking about releasing games on iOS or anything, just providing ways for owners of those devices to see what they are missing out on. It couldn't hurt.
Yup, they're full episodes. Seem to be selected episodes from seasons though.
QUEEN OF SASS
It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!
To my surprise, it was released on Android. However, I'm really questioning why this was made. Unless there's a ton of money to be made off of ads or there's some deceptive charges in there I see this as a waste of resources (for profitability, and this is a subsidary of Nintendo is it not?). This is especially weird considering they charged $2 for a basic Pokedex, $26 for the whole damn thing.

Marketing. People can now get their Pokefix everywhere.
Far better than running a TV ad to promote the next Pokegame.
@Chrono_Cross
NintendoLife tries to get any news that they can get their hands on. After all, its a non-funded site, from what I heard, and they do this on their free time.
I do see what you mean, and news has been a bit shallow for my taste, but it is what it is.
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...

In the description, it mentions that not only can you watch episodes, you can also view trailers and commercials for upcoming poke-products. MARKETING!!

The main reporting crew is in Britain. Of course there is going to be a time delay in the announcements.
You can delete this thread now.
Sigh. The purpose of this thread wasn't to criticise. It was to inform folks that the app existed in a light hearted manner.
But, since you brought it up. The press release for this app announcement (from one of the major PR companies in the industry) hit my inbox at 1:30am.
Which in England is about 3:30pm.
So, yeah. I was surprised that NLife hadn't reported on it, since it had reported on Nintendo game apps (official and illegal) on the app store in the past.
Well, it's the early hours and I'm writing this on my phone, so I won't personally pick this up for a bit.
Anyway, there's no "reason", I don't think, why we haven't done a story, just that we've been covering other stories and working on upcoming content. If one of the team has the opportunity on Wednesday, I'm sure this may get an article, but it's not been "blackballed" as a story, as far as I'm aware
