Seems like everybody loves Odyssey, but Zelda splits opinions. Er, I'm no different.

Golf Story and Wonder Boy have their faces pressed up against the glass. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is still sitting in its cellophane wrap, wondering why I've decided to save it till Christmas... As others have said, it's been quite a year.

Thanks to everyone voting so far! Always good to see a bunch of indie games and third party games, I was afraid this list would become too one-sided (my own ''very original'' votes included). And I'm seeing a bunch of votes for Metroid too, I wish it was on the Switch!
Disclaimer: I do not own a Switch, but I do own a 3DS, along with a PS4. All of these games came out on a Nintendo console, and I bought this year, but I did not play all of them on a Nintendo console. Feel free to invalidate this list, but I wanted to give my two cents anyway.
1.Shovel Knight Specter of Torment.

3.Magickarp Jump!(Yes really, I enjoyed it more then I should have.)

Specter of Torment was an easy number one, I 100% it 3 times with 3 following New Game+ runs.
