Topic: Nintendo into good Visuals?

I always play games from Nintendo through pure gameplay and not through visuals. So something is confusing me at this point whether Nintendo also focuses on stunning visuals or not? I've played a lot of Nintendo games that to me make the visuals not matter much to me atleast like Donkey Kong Country series.

But then there are times where Nintendo puts stunning visuals like those from Paper Mario, Galaxy and many more! So it makes me wonder whether today visuals play an important role for Nintendo...... Even this recent game Hyrule Warriors is claimed that it would be better if first party did it because the visuals aren't much......

@faint @Cia @the_shpydar Look man, you think stunning visuals alone make a game a masterpiece? Its more than that ok. I usually never cared about graphics when playing games because I can understand technical limitations that devs have to go through and that they never impress me at all. Games with average visuals can help make a game good and an example for this is Metroid 2. Its visuals aren't amazing....just average and even with that, it turned out to be a good game.

Or how about the visuals in Star Fox? Its just low polygons with minimum visuals put into it and yet it turned out to be a great game! Please ok, when something like this is there, either put up with it because I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one here who puts these pointless threads as there are many others who do it as well. Whether they do it more or less than me or whether they make sense doesn't matter to me because they still are pretty pointless most of the time (Nintendo out of touch? really? how many times we have to go through with that? ) Some gamers really don't play games just for visuals alone but rather if the gameplay is even better than average visuals, that's all that matters to them. And to me, if gameplay>visuals, that's all that matters to me and most of the time, that's what Nintendo does.

I don't want to make a scene here. But since you guys are able to put up with lots of pointless threads, why not put up with this one as well? Why am I the only one here where if I make a thread, everyone should run off? This isn't even paranoid stuff this is just stuff in general. I know a lot of people that can find a Nintendo game that isn't visually stunning but had that strong gameplay.

The site is nice enough to show you the author of the thread right next to the title, just ignore his threads if you find them unbearable.

Anyway, Nintendo has always cared about graphics and art styles.

Even with limited hardware, they have always tried to make the most out of what they have.

When Aonuma snapped his fingers and revealed this at E3, I literally gasped. That doesn't happen very often.
