Sega's hardware swansong, the Dreamcast, boasted some of the most quirky and innovative games of it's generation. From the dynamic, free-roaming arena fighter Power Stone, the stylish simon says game, Space Channel 5, the grand and ambitious scale of Shenmue, the online community of Phantasy Star Online, to the rebellious graffiti skater Jet Grind Radio. It's a fondly remembered system for a reason.

5 years later, Nintendo released a bizzare new handheld that would eventuality change the face of gaming forever. The Nintendo DS. With it's Dual Screens, touch and microphone inputs, 2D AND 3D capablilities, as well as it being one of the first system's with built-in Wi-Fi. The DS, while slow out of the gate, opened the door for unique new gameplay ideas thanks to it's unique interface, and wide array of unique games. A dual screened, urban RPG, a surgery sim, a dictionary game, and a puppy training game are just a taste of the many unique games this system offered. So, which had the most innovation?
