Alright, $300 is lower then I expected Sony to dish out, but how much will software cost? I'd say around $50-$60 for a game. Also how much support will it get from 3rd parties compared to the 3DS? Probably a lot less. The only games I ever played on my PSP for more then 5 minutes are SoulCalibur and MotorStorm, so I won't even think about purchasing one of these things. Sony makes a lot of promises, but I don't believe half of them 'till I see it.

I have serious doubts about a $300 launch price. Even if Sony is aggressive with their pricing by selling the hardware at a loss, we're talking about a machine that rivals the PS3 in power while being much smaller and completely portable, with battery power, a large OLED screen with a very high resolution for its size, two cameras (which are much higher quality than the 3DS cameras), and the touch screen/pad technology. And all of this for the same price that the bare PS3 console is sold for right now? I don't think Sony could afford to sell it for that cheap.
I sure hope it's affordable, lol, since I'll be getting one no matter what. :3

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

THat's their fault for adding so much stuff to their console.
...And the games...the games...
If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.
I prefer to pass. The PSP was a failure (from a software standpoint), why in the world should I care about the PSP2?

I think it's more along the lines of, everything now is incorporating 3D, including its main competition for a lesser price.
Of course it doesn't require it, but not having it won't help.
This is true. Especially considering that having 3D and a touch screen on the same screen would not be very beneficial. I'm glad Sony left 3D out of their new handheld. Also, 2 joysticks FOR THE WIN. That alone is seriously making me consider skipping out on the 3DS

Really? Where did you find your information on this?
It's not that the software was bad, it's just that I can't remember any more than 20 games that were really solid experiences on the system. Now look at the DS, which has tons of solid experiences compared to its power-heavy competitor. I do admit that I wasn't following the news on the PSP, but even then I should have heard of the games that made the PSP the PSP. I hear about the really solid games on the Xbox 360 and PS3 all the time even though I don't have any of those consoles, and yet I hear almost nothing about the PSP. That, to me, is a failure from the software perspective.

Will it have Mario? No. Will it have Zelda? No. Will it have Smash Bros.? No. I know what you're going to say, but at least the 3DS has a chance in getting it. Will it have Kirby? No. Will it have Pokemon? No.
Point being?

@TheFox: The point is Tj92 might be the biggest Nintendo Fanboy ever
Truth is, the PSP never really comes out with anything I like (except Monster Hunter and Megaman). It's mostly FPS, sports, more FPS, and more sports. Meh.
