Awesome thread, and by far my favorite game genre.

I'm very excited to see how the ones coming to Wii-U will turn out, as I won't own a PS4 for quite some time. I'll literally leap for joy if DQX ever gets confirmed for the west.

Some new news.

Adding Pier Solar HD since its coming to Wii U, PS4 and maybe xbix one alongside 360 and PS3.

Also Xbox One was confrimed to be getting Cosmic Star Heroine.

New Trailer for Bound by Flame

The Kickstarter for Festival of Magic has been put on hold until February of next year. hopefully i'll have some spare cash to kickstart the game next year.

Soul Saga character's got another update to make them more animish than they were before.

Elder Scrolls Online will be hitting in April for PC and June for PS4/Xbox One.

Bound by Flame looks really good, I will definitely keep my eye on that and I can't wait to get a job. When I do I will be able to start helping out on kickstarter.

Pier Solar HD is on track for all systems early next year and the guys at Watermelon Co have just been made Lisencesed Xbox One developers and should be getting their Dev Kits soon, so i'm expecting the game to be on this system as well.

I think my first Pure Xbox Article will be spot lighting the RPGS coming to 360/One next year.

New developer on the block Warhorse just announced their first game entitled Kingdom Come: Defiance and dumb sounding name aside it sounds pretty promsing with a Tagline of Dungeons but no Dragons. Its going to be Elder Scrolls style game in a realistic Mideveil world so no dragons, magic, or giant spiders.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is first-person, open-world realistic RPG set in medieval Europe. Enjoy unique melee combat, castle sieges, battles and quests in this epic RPG.

Nihon Falcom just announced today that they're working on a PS4 and it will probably be revealed next year. Many are expecting it too be a sequel Dragon Slayer or Xanadu.

I'm hoping its something like that but it's likely the next Ys since seven came out four years ago, and Legend of Heroes next istallment is set next year for Vita and PS3.

This is now the third of Major RPG factories or series coming to the system with Nacmo and Square Enix on board.

What's Namco making?

They're in early production of the Tales series on PS4.

Okay, just read up on that. Guess we can expect to hear about it by 2015?

I'm thinking next year to be honest? Next year is the anniversary game right, so i'm guessing the PS4 game will be announced a the next tales festival.

I think the PS4 game would have been announced in 2015 but the big push the PS4 has been getting in sales may have changed that especially with Nacmo wanting to get the regional games out as soon as possible. I'm still a bit surprised that Nacmo didn't say screw it and decide to put Zesteria on both PS3 and PS4.

I'm guessing it was too far into development or something.

I can buy that, but its illustrating cross gen WPRGS coming out when the JRPG scene would benefit the most from it.

The next Trailer for deep down tells us almost nothing but the music sounds good.

I know they're going to be different series but I think Sony would have been better off paying for a Dragon's Dogma sequel with co-op.

I'd like to see more western based/ turn based RPGs. There are so few.

Not really going to happen unless your playing an top view isometric RPG like Fallout 1. The closet you'll get is indie games like Cosmic Star Heroine or party based games like dragon age where you can freeze time and tell your party members what to do.

Child of Light, Soul Saga, and Festival of Magic are the ones that mainly catch my interest. X still looks great even among all this competition. Cyberpunk 2077 seems very intriguing well, I'll have to see how that turns out. After FFX2 thru XIII I cannot be excited about any new FF title ever again.

Child of Light, Cosmic Star Heroine, Cyberpunk 2077, FF15, and X are all the ones I'm excited about, though a few others have caught my attention.

Woah. A real medieval game! Not just one set in a fantasy realm with medieval influences like castles and swords and knights and stuff. I've always wanted a game set in the real, historical medieval era. There are WAY too many games that want to be Lord of the Rings in game form.
