Wow, this actually makes me wish I had a PS3. I do wonder if Nintendo will have anything to say about this though.

It does look like a lot of fun, but it also looks like a pretty blatant ripoff of the original Zelda.

I'm assuming it's parodic.

I'm calling Nintendo's lawyers right now! Six sages?! Cheeky bar stewards!

That even sounds like Zelda.

Someone out there wished for a 3D remake of NES Zelda, and someone out there apparently heard them. The game does look good, but there had to be dozens of things in that trailer that could be directly compared to Zelda, including the music.

Why then would they do a "remake" of a zelda game on the ps3? I dont think ninty will be happy about this one.

Don't care for their art style, looks rubbish. The game might be good, I don't know but this trailer didn't catch my attention.

Hopefully it's a good game. I still have my PS3 but the Bluray Driver is broken so I hope it's downloadable. Well it looks like a download game.
Probably getting a Vita with LBP soon...

Absolutely beautiful, especially the single-screen dungeon rooms. I will definitely be importing this if it doesn't come to the US. I'd never even heard of From Software, but this plus Demon's Souls has definitely put them on my radar.

looks cool, but i agree, parody or not, it seems a bit... sketchy. there could be some legal issues. and @Machu, i'll mathc your "cheeky bar stewards" and raise you a "Spoony Bard!"

Parody, people. Parody.
As for legal issues, the realm of parody is actually a lot more free to "copy" legally since otherwise parody would essentially be illegal, which would be ridiculous. There's no Western release announced, either, so if it stays in Japan, their copyright laws are much looser anyway.
Unless they copy actual names or music, which they certainly won't do, you can't copyright dungeon crawling or anything of the sort. The game play can be as similar as they want. See Neutopia for more information. The trailer looks fine to me.

Rip-off or parody it looks fun either way.
there's nothing that's certain... of that you can be certain

I have a PS3, and this looks awesome. But, this game is MASSIVELY INSPIRED by the Zelda series. I think Nintendo will lawsuit From Software very soon.
