Topic: New Chocobo Theme (FFXIII-2)

Warning: This song is so horribad it may cause you to question your faith in all of humanity.

What ever little faith I had in Final Fantasy XIII-2 being a good game were destroyed upon pressing play on this song. Just wow Squeenix.......just wow.

honestly, I need to confirm XIII's apparent horribleness so I can make a list of RPGs people could have bought instead this gen. In other words, let me make a list of any RPG this gen I know of that isn't Final Fantasy, regardless of quality.

Radiant Historia, The World Ends With You, Dragon Quest 9, Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker, the Dragon Quest, Dragon Quest V DS, Dragon Quest VI DS, Eternal Sonata, Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Kingdom Hearts' 500 or so side games, Xenoblade Chronicles, Rune Factory games, Shin Megami Tensei games, Tales of games, Golden Sun: Dark Dawn, the Pokemon series.

Oh yeah, also western RPGs. Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Elder Scrolls, Fallout.

I think this is the Chocobo race theme. Or at least a sample of it. Since the song JayArr posted is called "Crazy Chocobo", I'm assuming it only plays during certain events.

Judging from its position on the track list, I honestly don't think it's the Chocobo Theme. The only other thing I could find on the subject was this article, which does not confirm it as the theme, but mearly assumes so because of the name, completely ignoring another track with Chocobo in its name, "Groovy Chocobo", which sounds much more appropriate after listening to it. Perhaps we're all overreacting, here?
