From the sound of it, SEGA actually listened to hardcore fans! Could this be one of the best Sonic games?

Sigh. I was hoping this would come on the Wii. Then when I realize that it said "Coming to HD systems", I knew the Wii was excluded.

Sega, please bring this to WiiWare or the Wii at all. We would apperatice it so much, plus we won't have as much Wii haters. Does Sonic Team care about us Wii owners? Only time will tell.

Well this did make my bad day a LOT better. Nice to see a new 2D Sonic that hopefully will be faithful to the Sonic of old and not New 2D Sonic. Nice..... Nice one Sega.

I have a bad feeling this isn't coming to the Wii.

I would hope it does come to Wii. In my opinion, Sega would shoot themselves in the foot if they didn't bring it to the Wii. The Wii version of Sonic Unleashed has sold well over 1 million, while the 360 version has barely gone past half a million, with the PS3 selling even less. Plus the Gamecube remakes of Sonic Adventure + Adventure 2 sold well too.

If the game is HD only, that would be a very bad idea by SEGA. I am very sure, that a lot of Sonic fans own a Wii.

But...well.. its SEGA, and they are known shooting themselves in the foot...

Considering the good relationship that Nintendo and Sega have had as of late, i'd be surprised if it doesn't pop up on Wii in some form, even if it's just a ported version sans HD.

Yea, given the way Sega has been supporting Nintendo consoles since they dropped out of the hardware market, I'd be shocked if this didn't end up on the Wii.

This better be on Wii. I'm the biggest Sonic fan in the universe and beyond. If it doesn't come to Wii, I guess I'll have to get a PS3

I remember when Sonic Unleashed was making it's first rounds, it was described as an HD Sonic. That doesn't mean it won't be on the Wii. It would be an increadibly stupid move for it NOT to be on every console available that an handle the engine.

i'll be SHOCKED if this comes to wii. call me cynical, but really, how many times have we seen games PERFECT for nintendo's system that then gets given to the other only. even last generation. Soul Caliber II sold best on the gamecube, but when Soul Caliber III comes around, PS2 only. i realize that's Namco and not Sega, but both (and others) have done it and will continue to do it. and none of you can deny that. you know that as smart as a wii version would be for them and as much as you want one, you know how unlikely it is to happen.
