$8.99 a Month. Its Streaming Online so no downloading. I'm not sure how the X360 runs Netfix as I know its been available on the system for months, but I do know that Im really excited about getting it. Ill be getting rid of my Blockbust Unlimited as soon as this services launchs. I do know its literally find the movie/show you want to watch and just instantly watch it. Im in.

I also read somewhere they would also like to expand the service onto the Wii. I got Netflix so if I had a PS3 (which I do not, just hypothetically speadking or 360 for that matter ). Would I have to pay again ?
Netflix announced a while ago that they had no exclusivity deal with Microsoft, it was a matter of Sony and Nintendo getting everything set up within their network and Console for the service to launch...

@Devil.... no you only have to subscribe to Netfix once and you can use it on 360/PS3 and Mail Services wich is Awesome of the Netflix Company. Wii.... I'm not sure how well that would work. Im not system hating at all just being honest. Its not a HD system so the resolution isn't going to be high and the online capacity isn't great so it would have loading times, etc. PS3/360 can stream HD. You would be better off with the mail service of Netfix then trying to watch it through the Wii more than likely.

Dang it, Slapshot! I was about to comment about this on the PS3 thread but you beat me to the punch. I'll probably give it a try to see how well it works.

Network Connection is Netflix-specific... as far as I know, once your console connects to the Netflix server, it no longer uses Xbox LIVE/PSN, so it wouldn't matter... And given that HDTV penetration is still very low, most people wouldn't care... Digtal 480p TV is higher than what most people have as SDTV (Analog 480i)

and @Dark G Thanks ! I love my Netflix already ( a lot cheaper than my local Blockbuster or Family Video). I am not to tech savvy so I really was unsure and I do appreciate the explanation.
@DarkG.... yeah thats true... If you dont have a HDTV it wouldn't matter. As for myself I have 3 HDTVs and I wouldnt even consider Netfix if it downgraded my image. I get BluRays through Blockbuster and love it, but Netfix I can watch movies instantly by scrolling to them and just clicking. Im in and freakin excited about it. I didn't start the thread for 360/PS3 comparison just that the service will be available. This will save me about $15 bucks a month and its a better service all together.
eh....I tend to like buying movies, same as games. Nice for renters though, for sure...Sony's service for rentals is kind of expensive (made to be competitive with Cable/Direct TV rental services, which are also overpriced imo)

Same here about buying, but there is plenty of stuff out there I don't want to buy, but would like to see. Like 3 ninjas kick back. Watched that the other day, like it but don't want it enough to be in my collection.
Distric 9 (WILL HAVE A PS3 DEMO OF GOD OF WAR 3 ON THE DISC.......hint hint)
But I rent seasons of House, Greys Anatomy(wife), Weeds, etc. and other movies I want to see but not intersted enough for droppin the high prices of BluRay.

Microsoft released a statement saying that Netfix will NOT be available to Live Silver Members... only Gold. Im guessing this was a question from some now that its on PS3.
