After much rumors and speculation of the price the Neo Geo X will launch this December at a 200 dollar price tag. In case you haven't been following this the Neo GeoX is a handheld Neo Geo that will come preloaded with some of the greats Neo Geo games of its time. It will also have HDMI ports so you can connect it to a tv or monitor as well as it being a handheld. SNK will be making it so its not a clone system. Full line up of games are as follows.

As far as I know it just uses pre installed software. But I did hear a rumor so take it with a grain of salt that SNK will launch more games via a download service. Again it may just be a rumor.

Does it play Pocket Color games? Because I've been wanted to play Sonic Pocket Adventure for a long time.
As I said in the first post it COMES with pre loaded games kinda like the Plug N Play games or the Atari Flasback a few years ago. You wont be able to play Neo Geo cartridges at all on the Neo Geo X.

Wow does anyone read the first post of thread around here??? Its a new handheld that COMES with a bunch of classic Neo Geo games. YOu can't swap out games like you can with the 3DS or Vita its purely for nostalgia. Maybe down the road they may put out more games for it but they will all go on a thing like and an SD card. From I gather it would be like a 3DS that you can just get VC games on and thats it.

Sweet I love handhelds so I think I'll put this on the top of my Christmas wishlist. Maybe Luigi's Mansion getting delayed was a good thing.

Get one!! It is one awesome handheld, really hope SNK gets some games on the 3DS VC.
