For years now Naughty Dog & Insomniac Games have made some of the greatest Platforming games ever & I want to ask you which company has developed the better series of games:Naughty Dog who's developed the Crash Bandicoot Series,Jak & Daxter series, and there latest series:Uncharted.& Insomniac Games who's developed the Spyro series, the Ratchet & Clank series which is still ongoing, and there other series:Resistance.so which company in your opinion has developed the better series of games?

I think initially Naughty Dog was the stronger of the two, but if we're talking right now, I'm going Insomniac.

I'd go with Insomniac for now. All Naughty Dog's been doing lately is the Uncharted series, while over at insomniac, Restance and Ratchet & Clank are still going strong. In terms of the past though, I'm tempted to say Naughty Dog. I love Spyro and all, but I've always enjoyed Crash more.

@Corbie:So do you think that the Jak & Daxter Series is better than the Ratchet & Clank series?

Naughty Dog to me has the upper hand. Uncharted is phenominal and Among Thieves looks to be a ground breaking title. I love Insomniac but hate Resistance but love Ratchet series. I just think Uncharted is pure gold in gaming terms and not just because of El Dorado :D

Cant decide between those two. They had the best games of the best PSX's platformers.

I can't really decide either. Ratchet>Jak imo, but Crash more or less=Spyro, and Uncharted is just plain awesome. Don't give a fart about Resistance, though. And I do like Jak, just not as much as Ratchet, so that's clear. :)

The first Jak & Daxter is better than all the Ratchet & Clank games, but I didn't care for the later Jak & Daxter titles and I think the Ratchet & Clank releases kind of took over then. That's just my opinion.

@Corbie: Your opinion is quite clearly WRONG! :D

Just kidding! ;)
Seriously, though...the first Jak IS my favorite of the bunch, but it ain't better than ANY Ratchet game. Not even Deadlocked.

My wife told me to tell you guys that Sly Cooper is better than either Jak & Daxter or Ratchet & Clank. She's a big fan of the Sly Cooper games. She's still pouting that there hasn't been a new release on the current consoles.

You're forgetting Sucker Punch and Sly Cooper. They deserve to be, and are, up to the same level as Naughty Dog and Insomniac.

I couldn't choose, I love them all.

I really hope we get a new Sly Cooper game soon on PS3. That has to be one of my biggest wishes for PS3 eventuals.

I think they closed the series pretty well with three. I think a game where you play as the different members of Sly's family would be awesome. Like each level or two would focus on one member and then skip ahead in time to another.

I've only played Jak & Daxter and Ratchet & Clank, so I'm pretty tied. Both of those series are AMAZING.
