Topic: Most chaotic, hyperactive game you've played?

What is the most manic, chaotic, outlandish, and fastest-paced game you have played. It's got to be a game that constantly bombards the player with enimies, obstacles, weapons, gameplay styles, bosses, etc. A game where each level feels like an 8 hour Acton game crammed into 7 minnutes. And each level feels sporadic and moves in seemingly random directions. The closest I've played were the Sin & Punishment games.

Given I haven't played Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze yet, I'll give it to Returns. Jesus Christ the levels could be insane in that game, especially when rocket barrels and mine carts were involved:

Of course, even having not played it, Tropical Freeze apparently puts it to shame in that department...

From what I've seen, both Rayman Origin and Rayman Legends would be great examples too.

On a less official note... Mushroom Kingdom Fusion and Super Mario Fusion Revival have to be contenders here, at least in the more insane levels.

I'd say Hyrule Warriors and Dragon Quest Heroes both handled being a fast paced action game with loads of enemies on screen very well, hectic but fun. Also I'd say Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 gets really hectic in most of its modes. Goats, mechs, missiles, mines, lasers you name it. Great fun.

The way I see it, I consider Smash chaotic...so...yeah. Smash.

Definitely Bayonetta. That game is just CRAZY! Everything in it is over the top. The amount of possible combo's is huge, the game is fast paced and hyperactive, the enemies come in tons of variations, and often I just find myself jamming on the attack and dodge buttons at the same time before I go back to attacking fully-aware of what I'm doing. The bosses are also amazingly over the top, and they're very varied, and not to mention hectic, as well.
I'm currently nearing the end of my second playthrough, and this is the first time I've noticed a lot of stuff, ranging from little details to huge oversights on my part, both story- and gameplay wise, simply because the first playthrough was so hectic. I do have to say, Bayonetta is one of the first of it's kind I've played. I'm planning on getting Devil May Cry now, but this was the first time for me experiencing the 3D beat-'em-up action genre, and I absolutely love it. It's crazy, it's over the top, it's super chaotic and hectic, and after every two levels I have to take a break because my fingers hurt and I can barely hit a few Gigaton when I have to mash the attack button (like now), but It's amazing.

Most likely "I made a game with zombies in it"

Splatoon ranked S+ matches. Some of those can become really adrenaline-filled. Same for Melee and sometimes Smash 4.

Not necessarily the best example, but a game of mine that springs to mind is Left 4 Dead 2, when the horde surge comes, like on the fairground level with the rollercoaster, I never know which way is up and all I can see is zombies. Love L4D2.

Maybe not the most chaotic/hyperactive game I've actually played but Contra: Hard Corps (Probotector in Europe) is pretty much a boss rush from start to beginning and I love it. The stages and bosses are memorable and it's just fun time all the way through, especially in multiplayer.

It's its, not it's.

WarioWare: Smooth Moves, especially if you play in the harder building where it gives you super fast commands to do in a short time as a micro game.
One moment you're having a sword fight, then the next you have to balance on a ball, then drive a car, clean a cow and then lift a dumbbell (with crazy graphics to boot) all in less than 15 seconds. Plus it's motion control so relying on experienced thumbs is a no go. Like "Simon Says" high on coffee.

A dying animal struggles, thrashes and howls in protest as its life torn from it. To see this in action, watch Animal Planet. The same thing happens when a video game is or isn't released. To see this in action, stay here.
