These and bad camera angles. Nothing is more frustrating.

Also, lag. I don't mind if it's once or twice or the game is still fun to play even if it does lag here or there but I've played a couple of games which had a lot of lag, to the point it was nearly-constant and pretty much ruined them. Spyro: Enter The Dragonfly is the worst case of this which I've seen. It would have been decent without the lag, but with it, it makes you really notice how bad the game is(it doesn't help that the game also had really bad loading times). It plods along so slowly... It's just painful.

... Also, really bad loading times. ESPECIALLY when it's just loading a small section of the game. :U

These suck because they slow down the game a lot and make you realise how poorly built it may be.

I hate games with slow starts, unskippable cutscenes (specially before a part where you will most likely die many times), and cameras that self adjust all the time, after you change it to suit your view.

I will comment in this thread, never being able to find it again.

Final boss battles that drag on for ages. I'm guessing developers feel under pressure to make it as "epic" as possible, but you can do that without stretching it out for hours. It's now become such an overdone cliche that the final boss will take on multiple forms and have false, red-herring endings where you think it's dead, but it isn't, that it's no longer remotely surprising. It's now gotten to the point where I can't fully relax and bask in the glory of beating a final boss, because I just know it's not over yet...

A voice clip that plays at a certain point in a level, right after a checkpoint. (Sonic Lost World, I am referring specifically to you.)

Hyped-up conflicts that turn out to be cutscenes or laughably easy/short battles, except when done on purpose in the latter case. (I can't think of any examples, but I'm sure it's happened. )

EDIT: When NPCs kill durable enemies in one hit. (Kingdom Hearts 2, the part in the story when you revisit Hollow Bastion)
