Here it is! The general MH thread for NL members to come and discuss everything MH!

So it turns out that MHP3rd might not get a western release... More details here. Apparently, in the latest ask Capcom or something stream, a person from capcom (Sven) says to someone asking about the release in other regions, "To clarify, we do want it but from a business perspective, things aren't penciling for a straight up Western release. We are noodling "other ideas" that I can't talk about yet that might yet please fans someday."

Later in the thread, another Capcom person (Snow) says this: "I know it sucks right now, but hang in there. We're exploring other means for how we approach releasing Monster Hunter in the west. I don't think you've seen the last of it... But there's no news to really talk about right now. More or less it's just talks and discussions, but nothing is set in stone."

Take from what I posted what you will.

On a someone lighter note, except for the fact that we don't have the game here, MHF is getting costumes from SSFIV/
Ryu and Chun-li

MONSTER HUNTER!!!!!!!!!!

Ok first I'd like to say that Monster Hunter is pretty mmuch the best ever. 1000+ hours clock already just on MHT!
Also PSP monsters are cool and totally worth buying a psp for IMO. So much content and awesomeness!

Next I'd like to say that ala is totally boss and anyone who disagrees with me can have a taste of my Brazenwall.

Also any game that features great gameplay, huge beasts and still manages to incorporate kitties everywhere is win!

Wait, why is this in the "Other Gaming" board? MH3 is on a Nintendo console y'know. And the 3DS may get an instalment too plzplzplzplzplzplz

Because most of the titles are not on Ninetndo consoles... In fact only one is. And MH3DS isn't confirmed yet so this seemed like the place. Also, I see General Discussion as more of a place for General Discussions, and not talk of games :3

I followed the suggestions I got on the Universal recommendations thread and made Monster Hunter Freedom Unite my first PSP purchase.

I'm having a bit of trouble re-adjusting to the lance system, but that's probably because my first quarry was those snow raptors that keep rushing you, and the lance didn't have the shield rush technique that I'm used to in MHTri.

But I'm happy to see there's much more variety in beasts you are able to fight - not just wyverns.

And then I hear about the MHP3 installment a few days later.

I saw that other one. That was so funny! As for the second one...
