Magic is an awesome option, and it has DLC comming in the near future, it will be 400 MSP so be sure to save for that...
I would wait till next month's Deal of the Week are announced... this week's is Fable II Pub Games for 400 MSP (usually it's 800 MSP) so if you like Fable's Pub Games, and want 200 Gamerscore in the process, you could grab that while it's on sale...

about magic from what i understand you cant build a deck only edit it, is this true?
also is undertow worth getting?

true, but I find the customization good enough for me... I've only played a couple of small tournaments and the Shards of Alara pre-release, so I'm no hardcore MTG player either, but I loved the demo for that game nonetheless... you should check the demo and see if you like it...
The DLC adds more cards to customize current decks, as well as new decks and duels, so it's sure to extend the gameplay a lot.
Haven't played Undertow, but it looks good, you should try the demo: http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/games/media/66acd000-77fe-1...

i'm not that hardcore either (just learned to play last year and having to start a new collection every year isnt woth it, plus its social sucide at school). whats up with that spellslinger achievement?
6. Posted: Mon 26th Oct 2009 18:21 GMT
That's probably a viral achievement just like the one in GTA or Halo 3, where you had to kill a Rockstar/Bungie employee online, or someone who had already did so..
and you don't have to start a new collection every year if you don't want to, cards get banned only like every 2 or 3 years and they can always be used for non-sanctioned tournaments (some stores do a lot of them, keeps customers happy I guess lol)... I could go this friday to play on the Friday Night Magic tourney if I wanted to, with my SoA Green-Red-Black deck lol... MTG is the second slowest TCG game to ban cards, the first being Pokemon, that only bans cards like a year after a new game is out (for local and National leagues at least, the Worldwide Tournamenthas much tighter rules and sets)... and Yu-Gi-Oh!, that's the one where you have to rebuild decks every year lol

Magic on XBLA is actually pretty cool, but I say that mostly because I used to play the game in Jr. High. If you're expecting a robust offering with deck customization you'll walk away a bit let down. The decks included offer a nice amount of variety, so if you're more interested in a pick up and play option it's worth a peek.

I would strongly suggest to wait for next month's announcement of the Deals of the Week... that way, you might be able to save some points...
Sam & Max might be cheaper to get on PC, plus easier to play, so you could get more games...
For the other 800 points, I think the DLC for MTG is a must, at 400 MSP it looks like it adds a good amount of replayability and customization.

15. Posted: Mon 26th Oct 2009 23:44 GMT
MTG = Magic The Gathering
in this case, I'm talking about the Magic The Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalker XBLA game

any suggestions for the other 800 points?
Save them, then get enough points later for Shadow Complex. Freaking awesome game.
