What's the point of this? Gears of Wars was already an exclusive.
It was an exclusive on the 360 as I stated before. Because the Xbox One and the PS4 are similar hardwise some people and rumors were saying that the Gears might be coming to the PS4. That and I thought this would be interesting to see what others though of this.

I only mentioned the "big name" Xbox exclusives (nobody buys an Xbox only to play ilomilo and LocoCycle). I didn't mention the excellent Fable series because I completely forgot that Lionhead Studios is owned by Microsoft
But isn't that pretty much saying that Nintrndi only rleies on Mario, Zelda, and Wii insert verb here.
And Pokemon, and Fire Emblem, and Animal Crossing, and Metroid, and Starfox, and SSB, and Mario KART etc. There are so many great selling Nintendo franchises....

By the definition he have Pokemon isn't a first party title, since game freak isn't owned by Nintendo.
Fire Emblem was going to be shevled if Awakening didn't sell big numbers. A lot of people would consider the franchise neutered to achieve that. (Mind you I think Awakening was what the series needed)
Metroid has been on Haitus since other M, which is probably a good thing.
Mario Kart is a subset of the Mario Franchise so its not excatly a good point.
Its even more evident with Nintendo recent systems that seem to focus on safer franchises with a a few nixhw things here and there.
But who cares if the games are good.

All I did was point out that Gears of War, Forza and Halo (I forgot about Fable in my original post) are Microsoft's biggest exclusives. You don't agree with that?
I can agree with that. All of the big three have, their four big franchises.

What are Sony's big four franchises? I having trouble narrowing them down since they have such a variety. My guess is that they would be infamous, Uncharted, God of War, and Gran Turismo.
Sony's biggest IPs, IMO:
God of War
Sly Cooper
Jak & Daxter
Ape Escape
Everquest
Gravity Rush
EDIT: LBP, but the physics are pretty horrible
...
I'm sure I'm missing some, but those appeal the most, to me. I liked the first Uncharted, and Killzone 2 was ok, but I didn't like those that much, after those 2. I would say that PS All-Stars is a big IP, but another one of those will probably never be made, and it doesn't even seem like an IP, based on how Sony handled it.
