Did anyone else download this today on XBox 360?

I did however I always thought Marvel vs. Capcom 2 to be too loose for my liking even back when I bought new on the Dreamcast all those years ago. Playing it again for the first time in several years just reinforces that opinion. It was a game I had wanted to play again and I am glad its finally available to download but its never been my favourite 2D fighting game.

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

That describes how I feel, too, personally. In fact, that's how I've felt about the whole series. I haven't bought it yet(waiting to try it with my brother before I make any sort of monotary decision), but I've played the Dreamcast version many times, and just could not get into it.

I hope Capcom vs. SNK 2 comes to XBLA at some point, though. That game was the BOMB back in its day!

I've always loved this game. Too bad it isn't coming to the Wii.

I will be getting it on PS3 in a couple weeks. I used to hate the game because it was too over the top and I couldn't follow what was going on. I recently played it some more at an arcade and have changed my opinion. Though I couldn't care less about the vast majority of the characters, the team mechanic is interesting, and I enjoy the speed of play.

Moves seem simple to pull off, too, though the cabinet I played on didn't list Mega Man's, so I'm still figuring that out. Also, today I turned Zangief into some sort of Super Zangief, and I have no idea how... He turned blue and the green punch changed into a fire-blowing move?! Bizarre. I guess I still have much to learn.

I'll probably download this someday....someday when I have a PS3.

Someday.

Mega Man sounds fun to play as though.

Yeah. Zangeif can turn into his alter ego Mech Zangeif who originally appeared in Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter as a bonus character.

Wished I had a 360 for games like this being released. I saw the review up on IGN and it brought back memories.

I got bored of it real quick, just doesn't have the depth of Capcoms other fighters, the whole tag craze seems needlessly gimmicky now, I also thought the move set per character was limited, can still be fun but it is far from a classic, way too flawed.

I had to buy an XBox 360 earlier this year because I knew Street Fighter IV would not appear on the Wii and I just had to play it. Since then I've been able to play a lot of games that I wouldn't have been able to play if I had just owned a Wii.

How, though? And can all characters do this? I think I remember the CPU doing something similar with one of the Marvel characters once.

I'm trying to not buy this game, strange as it sounds. It's awesome, no doubt, but i forsee it getting a lot of play initially and then just gathering virtual dust, much like Ultimate MK3 and SFII (both of which i also love) on XBLA. When it comes to fighters, i think i just miss playing the actual cabinets (or maybe i just need to invest in a good arcade stick). And the price point, while i think it is fair, is a bit more than i'd like to spend (especially since i just d/L'd the overpriced, not-so-great-but-cool-for-fans Watchmen game).

But i'm a big Marvel fanboy and have already downloaded the demo, so i'm sure it's just a matter of time before i buy the full game.

She-Ra is awesome. If you believe otherwise, you are clearly wrong.

It's one of his super moves. Just look it up in an FAQ - just CTRL+F Zangeif(Or Iron Body, which I think is the name of the move - might be faster) and there you go!

There are in-game move lists which tell you all the characters special and super moves. Not sure if its in arcade mode as I haven't tried but its definitely in training mode.

Don't know about you guys but I'm having a blast playing MVC2 for the 360, it takes plenty of time to get used to the 360 controller but after a while I gradually got the hang of it. It is a little easy to pull off super combos but it's still rather enjoyable to pull of Cable's ray gun blast on an entire team lol.
