Topic: Marvel Heroes

I Was wondering if anyone has tried the new Marvel MMO Marvel Heroes yet. I have seen some LPS of it on Youtube and the style of it reminds me of Marvel Ultimate Alliance. I am thinking of checking it out but I was wondering if anyone plays it and what do they think of it.

I played as Iron Man in the beta and started now as hawkeye. It's pretty good.

Its free to play isn't it?

I think it's pretty mediocre, a better free (even more free actually) alternative is Path of Exile, but I like Titan Quest and Torchlight 2 more. Diablo 2 still holds up well to this day, I'd rather play that than Marvel Heroes. Part of the charm of these games is upgrading your weapons and armor to look cooler, but Daredevil will always look like Daredevil. It's just a really generic Diablo clone with Marvel skins.

Yep, can pay for some heroes or try to find hero unlocks as loot drops in the game. Only one I've found so far is The Thing but I've just started the game since the launch.

Hmm sounds interesting. I dont mind unlocking stuff over paying for it. Is there different servers? Also how solo friendly is the game?

I don't think there are any servers to pick from, and it's pretty singleplayer friendly, I got pretty far just by myself with Iron Man (although other players were still be around, can't really play completely offline)

Lol RIght I kinda figured that other players were still around. What I was more concerned about was mission or quests or whatever the call them were solo friendly or if you had to group with people just to complete simple ones.

I think the difficulty scales with the number of people around, so you VS a group of enemies or a boss won't be too bad.
