Not sure why it would - it's a Bioware game. I assume they pay a license of some kind? Disney would have to go out of their way to shut that down or revoke the license from Bioware. Disney isn't paying Bioware employees.

I doubt it any deals that were made between Bioware and Lucas were done before Disney took them over and are probably locked in. Honestly though they might as well shut them down.

This is a shame but the company was certainly just a shadow of its former self.
They were unstoppable in the 90s... not just with Star Wars either. The monkey island series, day of the tentacle, full throttle, Sam and max hit the road, Indy and the fate of Atlantis, zombies ate my neighbours .. all classics.

Best games ever. At least I got to re play Fate of Atlantis on my Wii and it was awesome. The dream of having many LucasArts adventure games on the Wii or Wii U is kind of really dead now, but at least the memory remains like Metallica would say.
this is so stupid. lucasarts was best developer for liscenced games. they made so many gems. i still dont understand why they are closing lucasarts.
Money plain and simple. Disney probably found out that its cheaper to just out source the Starwar's games to other third party studios rather than pay the upkeep and such for their own studio.

Fate of Atlantis is an unlockable bonus on Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings for Wii.
I really liked that game alot and it wasn't even popular....I'm not remembering that bonus though...it's been a while since I've played it. I just downloaded the SNES Indiana Jones game last night. It's tough.

Loved both Staff of Kings and Fate of Atlantis, and because the game was unpopular I bought it for next to nothing used. They put in a lot of modes in the game, too bad they didn't include The Last Crusade too (adventure game before Atlantis, that follows the movie i think).
