Yep, mine burnt out after one year. Just built a $650 desktop and it runs much cooler.
Same here. It doesn't matter how big or small the games you plan to play are, that laptop will overheat. Unless you can find one with three fans and a liquid cooling system or something like a Chromebook that can play some real games, I'd buy a desktop or Steambox to play PC games.

Laptops have improved in performance in recent years, and are quite good today. True, desktops will always be more powerful but less portable than laptops.
The PSVR is the best VR system on the market today.
