Hi guys! Been awhile since i've posted on forums so forgive me if i'm not formatting this right.

First of a bit of recap
A few months ago I got a hold of an old PC case for 20 bucks at a bargain bin. dual DVD drive and 3.5 inch floppy. I thought it looked like a beast of the 90's. I've since taken it home and was going to use it as a DOS gaming PC. however, motherboard fried a couple weeks ago and I've watched Linus Tech Tips video on the two "Sleeper PC's" he built, and though i enjoyed watching him build them, I wanted to go one step above and build my own sleeper PC, but with a twist. I want to build a mid range gaming rig and i want to keep the dual DVD drives and the floppy drive. Mostly too see if it can be done, and because i still use discs and floppy's from time to time (don't judge me). Please help me! I need to find a modern mother board that can support ide. and psu that can support physical drives.

Also if anyone wants to help me find the parts for this pc, it'd be very much appreciated! I've only built a couple of pcs before and there all older pcs from the 2000's

Sounds cool, just built my gaming PC over the summer but I don't really know what you would need. I believe any psu should work, I've never seen one that specifically supports optical drives. Not sure on the motherboard. Do you know what CPU and GPU you're getting?

Well excuuuse me princess
