Topic: Konami wants Skullgirls removed from XBLA and PSN

Konami has now stooped just as low as EA, Capcom, and Nexon. If things don't go Lab Zero's way, then all versions of Skullgirls except for the PC version and Japanese PS3 version could get removed.

I also have topics of this on Push Square and Pure Xbox since this relates to those platforms

I read this. It sucks and makes me a bit sad I haven't bought Skull Girls yet.

I'm not quite sure I understand the specifics of this.

Please correct me where I'm wrong here:
1) Skullgirls is developed by AutumnGames and published by Konami.
2) AutumnGames has decided to terminate their business relationship with Konami.
3) Konami reacted by requesting that Skullgirls be removed from PSN and XBLA.

Is that the gist of the story? If so, that seems pretty silly and childish of Konami. Equivalent to saying "Well I'm leaving and taking my ball with me!" even though it would be mutually beneficial to continue to publish the game.

Konami is nothing without Kojima and Metal Gear. It's sad to see a company that had great potential fallen so low.
