Topic: Kingdom Hearts 2.5HD CE -or- How to fail at marketing

I just read that the Collector Edition of Kingdom Hearts 2.5HD will feature a strongly limited metal pin/badge....
Has anyone in Squares marketing department ever seen one of the games ?
Wouldnt a keychain be far more interesting and fitting ?
Stuff like that is why i generally stay away from overpriced CEs, as their content seems to be rather randomly picked.

Its the same with CEs featuring busts of the main character. Sure, i might like the design, but if i end up hating that character with a passion by playing the game, even his design wont keep the figurine on my shelf

Wrong it was the Limited Edition which was a free upgrade and the pin looks awesome.

Ok, Limited =/= Collectors is just nitpicking
I never said the pin didnt look good, but for me, a collimited (see, now you cant complain ) should do a little more fan service.
A far better choice would have been a metal "Kingdom Key" Keychain or something like that.

Have to disagree on just having a Keyblade I prefer the current design with Sora holding a Keyblade next to Mickey.

I meant the actual keychain from the Kingdom Key keyblade, not the weapon itself as a keychain.
Again, it doesnt matter if the pin is good looking or not, its just random.
And thats the point im making, im not debating about its quality ad its design, but that collectors items in general should be much more fitting and tied to the game.

I don't care about the souvenirs, all I want is to play Birth By Sleep with right stick camera controls

Releasing the game far later than its Japanese counterpart is some failure too

It's part of the official Disney Pin collection so it's actually pretty cool if you're a collector of Disney pins and not just a video game collector.

It's the same price as the standard game (in the UK at least) so the pin is free. Also, they've said that it will come in a box the same size as the 1.5 limited edition so will look nice on a shelf. I don't get some why some people are unhappy.

Will the same thing apply to X when that is released ? Waiting for Bravely Default didn't seem to do any harm.

(Doesn't change the fact that Dragon Quest VII is the only good thing and the one thing they won't bring to the West).
