Thought the 1st NVC post Otero was very odd. Pacing was off and I'm not gonna lie, I fell asleep during, which is new to me. This isn't a dig at Peer as a host, big fan, it just seemed like there want the same glorious dictatorship led structure that was always strictly adhered to under Otero.
Did find the cardboard cut out a bit odd, unless of course they were calling him out....

I honestly think @AlexOlney should apply for the role of host.

I did, but I don't think they'll get back to me considering my CV has 10 years of managing kitchens, pubs and brewery's.....

Otero was generally pretty good and I guess it's sad to see him go. I don't think there are many people at IGN who have that general passion for all things Nintendo like he has. I wouldn't mind them taking on a complete Nintendo fan even though I would never trust that person's reviews. IGN videos in particular are just so boring and the excitement feels at about 2% for me when I see videos about Nintendo there. Then again, maybe I just don't understand the appeal of watching or hearing people talk about games. If it is an intelligent and well thought out discussion I can listen (I recommend KingK lately) but hearing some random guys talk about whatever is on their mind is not news, especially when they have no idea what they are talking about a lot of the time. I tried watching gamexplain the other day and it was just a guy who downloaded the Splatoon 2 demo and was opening it for the first time to see what there was. How is that news?
