Topic: Is Final Fantasy: Dimensions worth $20

Recently upgraded my phone to a smart phone (Samsung Galaxy S3), and this game caught my eye recently. I'm a fan of the classic series, but $20 seems like a bit too much. Anyone else here play it and think it is worth $20?

Personally, I found the game pretty forgettable. Didn't really feel like playing it all (so I guess I can't truly comment on its quality, but there you go. I didn't really grow up with games like Final Fantasy IV and VI, so the game's nostalgia didn't really affect me personally. However, I find Final Fantasy IV and VI to be incredible games. Take that for what it's worth.)

Not when you can get Final Fantasy III, a significantly better game, for around the same price, if not cheaper.

Perhaps it's just that I've played FFIII too many times, but I found Dimensions far more interesting.

I've played Dimensions through twice and it's a full length JRPG, as I said before. While I wouldn't say it's as good as some of the other games in the series, I got my money's worth.

You can always download the first part of the game for free and test it out for yourself. I believe the first paid chapter is cheaper than the others too. If by the end of that chapter the game hasn't hooked you then it won't ever, but if that's the case, you've only "lost" a few dollars, not $20.

I've got the DS version of FFIII, so technically I have no need to get that game on my phone.

Going on Google Play Store, I only found the full $20 version, not any that are chapter-based.

Well, I'm glad I waited to buy it, because today just so happens to be the game's 1st anniversary on the Google Play Store, so they marked it down by 50% (don't know for how long).

So, I just got it for $10.
