That's a shame, but I'm all for people doing what they want. One thing that bugs me across all media is to just keep pumping something out until it flops. I can't wait to see what Ken does next.

Bad news. I feel sorry for all those people that may lose their jobs.

I will comment in this thread, never being able to find it again.

You made bioshock infinite and you shut down your doors?! What?

Was Mariobro4. No, I'm not taking off my backpack...it's important.

Kind of expected after Infinite was a disaster.

What disaster? It did pretty well, some issues with DLC aside.

But anyways, they're doing it for reasons other than money. The guy wants to focus on smaller games now. Though I agree with Kodeen, firing wasn't the best idea to go with there...

What are you talking about?!

Before the game came out there were several delays, a lot of people were laid off during development, and a large portion of the game was cut, including multiplayer. I don't know how much money it made, but I can't imagine they made much money after all the problems.

Considering how sucessful Bioshock: Infinite was in 2013, you would think this would be the least expected thing to happen but it's still sad news.

3DS games:

Mario Kart 7

Zelda OoT 3D

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Shadow Wars

Pokemon Black FC: 2666 2484 8599

Kid Icarus Uprising

Heroes of Ruin
and more.

Crime doesn't pay, unless you are really good at it then those who are legal criminals will pay you to keep their stolen goods safe.

So.... no chance for a Wii U port then?

Cool. Hope his future games are half as thought - provoking as the Bioshock games have been.

The game cost over $100m to produce, so even over four million units may not have been enough to be worth the investment.

I'd love to see BioShock Inifinite get a Wii U port + Wii Pointer controls, but looks like that will never happen now. Heck, it would of never happened in the first place.

tbh it just sounds like Levine got bored of the AAA business and wanted to revert to something smaller. There wasn't really anything financial to do with Infinite that caused this. I can't really blame him for thinking like that, although I do wish he somehow didn't lay off nearly all his employees.

always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)
