Im still not sure how exactly Angry Birds became so popular. I dont think virtual sticks are that bad. There are games that do it pretty well. Chaos Rings takes care of it greatly and the gameloft games seem to work well with them. I just noticed Bit Trip Beat on the app store with "Extra features". Temptations...
Hey guys if you're into it, Call of Duty: Zombies is now $4.99 and it includes all 4 original maps! Its a great deal. Of course I lost a ton of money buying it when it was way more expensive.
EDIT: OMG! Bit Trip Beat on the App Sore for only $1.99! I think I just might have to get this.
There's a whole mess of gaming sales going on. I just picked up Mirror's Edge and THPS2 for $2 and Puzzle Agent for $1. The Zenonias are on sale as well.
Not on sale, but I picked up UFO On Tape for a buck as well and it's really fun. Basically, you're a guy in a car with a camcorder and you see a UFO in the sky, so you try to film it for as long as you can.
New levels, retina display (for devices that support it) and GameCenter support, which means I SERIOUSLY need to get my iTouch updated to 4.1 immedietely. (I could never get it to go to 4.0 for some reason, hopefully 4.1 will work.... and yes my iTouch SHOULD support 4.0).
"Oooh, yes I said it! I said it! I said it 'cause I caaan!" My Backloggery
There's a separate angry birds app for the iPad. They haven't updated yet, but I guess that's because of game center. Can't believe iOS4 won't be out till November
Anyway, just played zenonia free and... I d'know. The d-pad is too big on the iPad, and the story is lame. I can see it being more enjoyable on the DS with proper button controls, but I think I'll pass on this version.
I'm curious, is FF1 any good? I own the GBA remake and its insanely easy.
There's a new Halloween version of Angry Birds out. I don't see why they couldn't just release them as extra levels, but I guess they've released enough extra levels without making us pay extra. They deserve it.

I'm surprised Sonic 4 isn't out for the iPad yet. It was apparently playable at E3. Oh, and I saw the Halloween AB. Looks exactly the same, so I won't be buying it.
Has anyone played the new Modern Combat game? It's been getting some good reviews.
Battle for Wesnoth is only 99 cents right now. Highly recommend it to SRPG fans. :3
I bought Modern Combat 2 (iPad) today too, and it's pretty fun. I'm digging all of the different team-based online modes, and the leveling system gives you more incentive to keep playing. The framerate's kind of choppy sometimes, but it doesn't hinder the gameplay too much.
