Haha, dude, I'm dead serious. I've thought about it before, and I'd be glad to help out in terms of script / dialogue and...uh...maybe that's it, since I don't have any other talent, game-design-wise. Maybe rough level design or something.
We obviously couldn't make any money off of it, but do you think anyone would actually shut it down? It might be one of those projects they just let slide...
...hmm.
Man... Can you imagine the plane scene in semi-animated 8-bit, like those cutscenes in Super Star Wars and Ninja Gaiden? That'd be so much fun to make, albeit time-consuming. I wonder how NBNW would play as a game though? Perhaps an adventure game like Monkey Island?
I'm swamped with school and developing my App Store engine right now, but this'd be fun to do at some point. It'd require a lot more than just a single coder and artist for it to ever get done though, haha.
I'd probably create a 2nd life-like MMO where you get the most fictional money for complaining about your hobbies. Everyone on the internet would sign up and I'd be rich.
or maybe I'd make a JRPG that doesn't have stupid melodrama or girly looking men, I dunno
Well, obviously I can't give you my ideas, you might steal them. However, I can tell you I'd make a 3D platformer, a superhero beat em up, and a fighter for sure.
I was thinking a first-person survival horror game that takes place in a cave. Everything is pitch black, save for what you illuminate with your lanturn (which has limited oil). The place is crawling with monsters, but all you can do is run. I figure that if you have limited vision, the less you see of the beasties, the better.
Imagine yourself swimming in an underground river, diving down to go under a low ceiling. Just when you're about to clear it, the light from a nearby exit (or cracks in the ceiling, whatever) illuminate the water, and you see human eyeballs and other limbs just floating around. Then you hear something moving around...
I dunno. I have a lot of time to think about things like this.
PS: ...Has something like this been done before?...

I have an awesome idea for a Neon Genesis Evangelion game, which I've posted on here twice before. Can't be bothered to dig it up a 3rd time though, sorry
If you guys wanted to you could use Scratch (Free download from Scratch.mit.edu) which lets you create basic games which you can publish on the website.
I guess I'd create an adventure game based on the world's Dragons (there are so many myths of them that creating a world of them would be interesting), but the dragon's are merely a chosen gift/curse for a select few human beings.
The game would require you to travel around the world to fight/befriend fellow dragons and seek the true meanings behind it.
I'd make the 5th and final game in the Monkey Island series, not taking Tales of Monkey Island into consideration. I would name it Return to Monkey Island.
The Fame Monster, a hybrid rhythm/beat-em-'up/RPG starring Lady Gaga.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.
