Topic: I won't be getting a Playstation 3 this Christmas.

Look, I do not need any money for a PS3. I know it's a luxury and I don't need it. I can get the money myself.

I had no idea that this thread would turn out this bad. I don't get why almost every time I make a thread, I get bashed on.

Also, regardless of what people say, how am I always complaining about the Virtual Console? I learned that one-game week is better then nothing and you don't see me complain about one-game week anymore.

I might as well make a thread about if I should be IP banned or not.

We're trying to tell you that you're self-centered without bashing you. But everyone bashes on you every time you make a thread, probably because of your reputation.

Well with all of your topics ranging from total pointless rants to how much you hate Wii haters, how did you not expect a topic talking about how your not getting a PS3 for Christmas to not turn out the way it did?

Right, I'm going to dish out my usual advice now - try to keep calm and think twice before posting. That applies to everyone. I'm sure nobody wants to offend anybody else directly but when the tempers start to flare a bit that's how it comes off. I believe I may leave this topic open so that people can apologise, but please watch your tempers in future everyone. Ta.

SSBFan is probly just really disappointed about hearing the news and needed somewhere to air it, cut him some slack. Have none of you EVER needlessly complained about something on the internet? It seems like he's not trying to bug his grandparents about it, now that he knows their situation this Christmas, so he needs to air it out here (it sounds like he's a little young and isn't exactly clear on all the inner workings of their financial situation, so this probably is a bit of a surprise). He comes off as someone who is going to be respectful whatever he gets this Christmas, though he's still hopeful. I remember back in the day when pretty much the only time I could get video game stuff for Christmas and my birthday, and on the rare occasions I could save up $50 for a new game (that was a lotta weeks of chores and allowance).

That being said, you do seem to overreact to everything, and take video games really seriously. Get out and enjoy life! There's more to life than video games and definitely more to life than internet forum hating! I'm not telling you to leave, just put it in perspective.

And for all those commenters who "don't care about every little detail about his life so are sick of his threads," ignoring them is a viable option too. "Adults" who are so "disappointed in the youth these days" should look at their behavior for a bit. It wouldn't hurt to take the advice their mothers' probably gave them: if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. Hating on a kid on an internet forum, isn't really setting a mature example, in case you're wondering. Nothing against constructive criticism and good advice, but some comments really do cross the line.

A mature example you say?! Do you think he would actually listen?! I spend enough time being serious and mature in the real world, I think before I speak, I take people's feeling into consideration. But this is the internet, if someone annoys me, Machu shall vent, and beleive me when I say it is already watered down somewhat so as to be polite. If the topic hadn't been created none of these responses would exist. Yeah?
