Recently I bought a PS4 with the Arkham Knight. Got home, set it up only to find I needed a day one 3.5GB update. Also, with the 4 bits of DLC that came with it totalling 2.5GB, It took over 2 days of downloading including several times where he download failed and I had to reconnect it. Today I started downloading the Telltale Game of Thrones game, which weighs in at 2.6GB and has taken 8 hours to download- only for me to find out that's only episode 1 of 6, with another 3 already being available. I also glanced at Ultra Street Fighter 4, but was soon put off after learning it was 14GB worth of data, which I guess would take me somewhere in the region of a week to download.

Now I understand that I don't have the fastest internet, but it works fine to play a bit of MK8 and Splatoon and to watch SKY and the BBC iPlayer. I've downloaded games and DLC on the Wii U and 3DS, and it never really bothered me as nothing took longer than an hour or so. I get that games are bigger and shiner on the PS4 and XB1, but are they really that larger? I don't want to pay for super fast broadband, and having to wait so long (and worry if my internet is going to hold up, stopping me using it for anything else) makes me question if I really want to download anything from the PS store.

Is this just me, or is this a common gripe for the rest of you?

Isn't it obvious that Falco Lombardi is actually a parrot?
