..... honestly though, have you guys even considered that some of the Move Games might be pretty dang good and they will more than likely come to the Wii?

Well actually, Move makes the chances of me getting a PS3 increase somewhat. Like I've said many times before, the main reason I don't own Sony stuff is because of that horrible lazy controller. My hands disliked it on PS1 & PS2, and guess what, they didn't change it for the PS3. Ug! I know a lot of people like it, but I do not. The Move will, in effect, be like having 3rd party Wii games with better graphics, which can only be a good thing.

One problem though. They put a dumbass coloured blob on the end of it. Untitled That thing is not coming into my house!

Sweet, now maybe Move can take all of Wii's crappy 3rd party titles with it

Or, whatever system these games are made for, we could just not play them?

Come on, friends,

@ejamer.... Im guessing you havent had your Wii since launch? I have and trust me the first update to the system was crucial. My Wii was freezing constantly and the update stopped it, the new channel that were added to the system were great and then you had an update that added the DS download services and then you have now the WiiWare Demo Service. Yes, updates do matter and they are Free and why would you not look forward to them?

Let me clarify a bit - I like system updates when they bring improved stability or additional functionality. Hey, why not enjoy something that is given to us for free!

But are talking about about the PS3 in 2010, a feature-rich system that offers much more functionality than Wii does, and is already well-established and stable. This isn't a newly released launch system, but an already mature console that has grown and developed through many previous updates. Another PS3 system update isn't likely to bring ground-breaking changes, and even the most requested updates don't sound like they will do much to improve gaming on the machine. So if they offer a system update that's great... but I can't understand why some people clamor for updates instead of appreciating what they've got (much like some people only care about unreleased games instead of playing and enjoying what is available now).

I buy and support consoles so that I can play games. Period. Unless a PS3 system update does something to make gaming on the console more appealing (for me), then I don't consider it to be particularly exciting news.

I've learned to accept Sony controllers, but still dislike using them. They always feel uncomfortable and awkward. Glad to hear I'm not the only one.

My theory is that people always adapt given enough time. Playing the NES with that boxy little controller and stiff D-pad that wore blisters into your thumbs felt perfectly natural after spending enough time with it. Most other controllers also took time to get used to. You have to give Sony credit for keeping a consistent design that allows people who loved the old PS/PS2 controllers to still feel comfortable and familiar with the current console... but the downside is that there have been no significant improvements in how the controller feels since the release of the original PlayStation. You also have to credit Nintendo for the Wii design -- people (including non-gamers) are usually able to grasp how it works immediately because of the shape and design. Mimicking a remote control was very effective and practical for what they wanted to achieve.
