I hope the One`s BC will force Sony to rethink PS Now, or at least greatly improve it. At the moment, it's overpriced, requires a buttery smooth broadband connection with no data cap, and is arguably limited in software.
My only worry is that the One's BC isn't universal. Each game has to be added individually, which is up to the publisher. I can see a lot of publishers saying no, especially if they have a current gen remaster of a last gen game out already. It may also cause a slow rollout of new compatible games, like what we've seen with the Virtual Console.

I've only recently got my Wii U, so I'm not going to buy any Xbox or Playstation any time soon. However, if I ever decide to get a second console, then what's shown at E3 may help me decide whether to get a Playstation or Xbox. The Xbox 360 backwards compatibility sounds great though, Microsoft's press conference has made me want an Xbox One much more than I did before.
So long as Shadow Complex, Crackdown, and The Lost Odyssey are added, I'll be fine enough to upgrade if my 360 ever breaks (which is looking increasingly likely, especially since mine has a Jasper board...).
Really happy for The Last Guardian fans, though it doesn't really look like my thing. I can live without Uncharted 4. Other stuff is coming to PC. That World of Final Fantasy game looks cute, and it's coming to Vita.
Posted this on the Xbox One thread, but this seems more appropriate...
E3 convinced me to get an Xbox One down the line. Even though I preferred a PC I don't have the energy/time to build it. Still not sure, but that's the way it's looking. I am not interested in PS4 (an understatement) so this makes sense because it will give me backward compatibility (which will include the first south park hopefully... at some point), the Rare Collection, and Scalebound and the multiplatform games (Arkham Knight), and will also be cheap ($300 black friday?) so that's the plan I guess. My only problem is that I really don't have space for another console - it has the Wii U and the Wii and they're not moving from there. That's why I wanted a PC. Maybe I'll end up not buying anything, but X1 has a good chance.
I'll definitely be getting a PS4. Probably not until 2017, but Sony has finally done enough to convince me that one of the current-gen consoles will be worth my while when I do decide to upgrade.
Although I still see myself as a core Nintendo gamer, I have to accept that next year were going to go through some lean times. Plus I really like the idea of playing Arkham, Broken Sword 5, Disgaea, SF5, Last Guardian and FF7.
Isn't it obvious that Falco Lombardi is actually a parrot?
Already picked up an xbox one and love the system. This e3 made me decide to sell my WiiU. Up for sale right now kijiji. Havent been playing it all that much, even Splatoon I dont play much at all. And nothing seems to be coming out that makes me want to keep it. Whatever money I get for it I'll put in the bank for the NX. Hopefully thats better than the wiiu.

I would be surprised if FF7 or The Last Guardian released before 2018

Looks like no XB1/PS4 for me this year either.
Yup, I lied. Nier 2 was the final weight on the scale. I can't not play that game. Buying a PS4 as soon as there's a decent bundle/sale.

For me, i end up feeling that PC is by far the way to go, Gears of War HD, Killer Instinct, Fable Legends, FF7, Shenmue 3, Red Orchestra - Rising Storm 2, Guild Wars 2: Hearts of Thorns, BlueStreak, Pillars of eternity, XCOM 2, Planet Coaster, Arma 3 new update, Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void and the best version of every multiplarform game the PS4 and XB1 has.
And SE is porting almost every of their games to PC also, so i woould nor be surprised if see (with a delay) Kindgom Hearts 3, im pretty sure 1 and 2 are in the works.
With Microsoft showing some promises with GoW and KI, i can see the future of PC gaming better than ever, maybe we could get Forza or Halo: MCC at some point, who knows...
I've officially decided to get the PS4 later this year. Good work, Sony. And I mean this year. See what Black Friday deals there are.
As for my Wii U, I still love it and I will never get rid of it. Nintendo's next console will have to impress for me to get it, though. Regardless of whether it's a home console or portable...or both...
I own a PS1, GBA, GBA SP, Wii (GCN), 360, 3DS, PC (Laptop), Wii U, and PS4.
I used to own a GBC, PS2, and DS Lite
